This place is just as advertised. The view as soon as you walk in was breathtaking. The furniture is comfortable, and the appliances were surprisingly modern and wellfunctioning. We utilized the beach chairs and boogie boards on the beach. Excellent stay and would recommend. Check in was easy, instructions were clear and the location was convenient to both Malibu beaches and nearby Santa Monica

Amazing Location

Our second time at this property, albeit in a different unit. Can't beat the location. So magical to hear that ocean all day and all night. We will return.

Best three days in a looong time

Beautiful location right at the beach and all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay is there. Only downfall was that there was no air condition and it was hot and humid. But would definitely go back again.

Property is at a great location facing a beautiful beach. We came back here after 4 years having been regular visitors pre covid. Everything is great. Only note of feedback - Queen mattress in kids bedroom is in need to replacing.

Even better than the pictures. Fabulous property right on the beach. Fully equipped. Angel the property manager was beyond helpful & great. Comfortable beds! Gorgeous view! Worth the splurge. No elevator to second floor unit. Loved our stay!

Excellent location and property!

We loved this property and everything about it. Lots of space with two bedrooms (3 beds) and 1.5 bathrooms. Plenty of bathroom supplies and kitchen is well appointed (little light on utensils but we managed fine). Extra points for the two assigned parking spaces. View was incredible and we enjoyed walking distance to scenic stretches of beach and the Malibu Pier. Also very short drive or healthy walk to Malibu Country Mart. And the onsite staff was a nice surprise. Angel and his crew were amazing with questions and any request. Highly recommend this location!

Fantastic spot, excellent staff

What a fantastic experience. The team was extremely helpful and very friendly. I never had a single worry. We stayed in “Orca”. If your goal is to sit on the beach, you’re going to have to take a short walk. If you want the full deal “Malibu experience “ complete with waves crashing just below your deck don’t hesitate for a second. The balcony is so close to the water you could fish off of it. We spent hours on the balcony just looking at the yachts, dolphins, seals and other life. It was a great trip. Safe neighborhood easy access, great parking (I have a full size Silverado). No problems, just great times. Thank you to the team for a fantastic weekend. We’ll be back for sure!

Location, Location, Location

This location was ideal for our family of 4 adults. This bright and airy apartment was clean and literally over the ocean. The complex is small and quiet with easy beach access at low tide. The ocean sounds, view and ability to walk to the Malibu Pier, the Malibu Country Mart made it a winner. The beds and pillows were comfortable and plenty of towels available. Just a few tips...the laundry rooms were on the ground floor and were $1.75/ea. Quarters only. This apartment is up one flight of stairs (about 15 steps). The main bedroom faces the PCH and can be noisy if you are not used to street noise. We all enjoyed staying here and intend on returning for a longer stay.

Most relaxing trip ever

I was honestly not expecting it to be so beautiful. The view is amazing and when the tide is high you feel like the condo is in the water. We saw Dolphins and sea lions right from our balcony. There are beautiful tide pools nearby for exploring... you can see starfish and oysters . Angel the property manager was very helpful. The unit was airy and spacious and clean. I appreciated how organized the linen closet was (plenty of linens by the way ) You cant beat the location halfway between Nobu and the Malibu pier . If i had to complain about one thing it would be that the laundry on site is coin operated ... otherwize it was an amazing vacation

Great Location, but NOT good for Seniors

I took my mother here for a week for her 80th birthday, and while the location is magnificent, the two flights of stairs were a lot for her, and the large rocks that litter the sand path to the beach were just about impossible for her to navigate. The property manager Angel (a lovely, sweet man) did everything he could to move the rocks and make the path better - and Mom made it to the beach a few times - but Mother Nature had other plans for those little boulders every time the tide came back in. Overall, didn’t mind the humble (worn) furnishings at all, and the proximity to outdoor meals at the Malibu Beach Inn was wonderful. I only wish the description had made it clear that this location is probably not the best for seniors who lack 100% mobility. I wrote the property owners about the inaccessible beach the day we arrived and they never bothered to respond. They’re lucky they have Angel on hand.

Stunning location, comfortable property

This is a perfect location on the oceanfront as we loved walking the beach at low tide and hearing the waves crash below the unit at high tide. Perfect view! The beds and furniture were very comfortable, and we enjoyed the outside balcony every day and night. Communication with the property manager(s) was outstanding and timely. It was also nice to meet Angel, who wanted to be sure we were enjoying the property and that we could contact him for needs or concerns. The one thing that could be improved is that certain things in the unit and overall building could be updated. Please replace the sliding glass door like they did in unit C across the hall. It is very difficult to open and close, and a new door would be a BIG improvement and better meet expectations for a unit in this price range since we use it so many times every day. Also, the rusty steel handrail on the outside stairs to the parking lot is dangerous. Overall this is a fantastic property. Simple and inexpensive upgrades would make it a 5-star experience for us. Thanks for your hospitality.

Wonderful Malibu Retreat by the Ocean

View from the deck of the ocean and pier was stellar. The restful blues and whites of the interior felt perfect. This was a wonderful retreat for my daughter and me.

Carbon Beach Beauty

The Orca condo was fantastic!! The views from the large balcony were spectacular. There was plenty of room, wonderful fire place and the proximity to many wonderful restaurants makes this an ideal location.

Relaxing

The location was perfect. Everything was within a mile. The place had everything you could need. They even left quarters for your laundry. The place did have a damp smell and that’s because it was right on top of the ocean, maybe. Some of it was run down but my daughter said it was beach aesthetic so I guess I’m not used to it. . Love the hosts and the maintenance crew. Really sweet people .

Perfect Location

We really enjoyed the view from the balcony, however the condo needs to be seriously updated. Very cheaply finished. The king bed was very comfortable, the other beds not so much. Very outdated kitchen, no wine glasses and flatware doesn’t match. Minimal kitchen utensils, plates etc You pay for the view, but that’s about it unfortunately.
