    Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally located safe cottage. This home is located in the heart of down town La Verne. It has has been completed remolded with a brand new kitchen, bathroom, floors, open concept with new furniture. It is within walking distance to stores , restaurants and the Pomona fairplex. It’s a 5 min drive to down down Claremont and The Claremont Colleges. Renovations to the yard are in the works of creating a drought tolerant environment.
    This house includes a front yard side yard and backyard with a fully fenced yard with lots of private parking.

Cozy!

Our family of 5 stayed in the cute cottage close to family, 2 bedrooms worked fine for us with the kids all sharing the room with the day bed also having a trundle!

Clean and cozy

Nice little house close to downtown. Everything was clean, nice back yard and had a couple of beach cruisers to ride around. Close to down town food and shops. We will definitely be back.

Time with family in La Verne

College Cottage is a little gem with everything you need walkable to Old Town La Verne. We were walking distance to family who live nearby and having our own space was perfect. Amanda was a great host who was responsive and thoughtful. Thank you Amanda!

Charming Cottage

The college cottage was wonderful. My husband and I stayed there for 7 days. It was very clean, well appointed and nicely decorated. The town of La Verne is a little gem with pleanty of restuarants and shops. It's also very close to the Pomona Fairplex. The host was very helpful as well.

Cute little house for a two night stay. Kitchen was fully equipped, AC and heat worked great, comfortable beds with extra blankets, and the place was very clean and remodeled well and the backyard was large with plenty of seating. Only complaints were the bathroom was really small, you would not want to be a big guy on that toilet with how close to the tub it is. House was old and had kind of a funky musky smell especially in the hallway that leads to the bedrooms and bathroom, we tried to burn a candle to cover it up but it really wasn’t a big deal. The house is also directly on a major road and can be loud even at night with sirens and what seemed to be street racing, one of the bedrooms faces that road and the person sleeping there had some trouble our second night. Driveway was also awkward to get in and out of but we have a modern car with good cameras on it so it wasn’t too hard to navigate but might be harder for someone with an older and larger car. Host was great! Communication was as prompt and clear, she delivered us some extra toilet paper and paper towels after we checked in because her cleaning person told her we might be running low. I’d be open to staying there again, the price was fair for what we got compared to other options in the area we needed to be in.

Above & beyond our expectations!

We absolutely loved our stay here at the cottage home. Perfect for anyone wanting a nice get away in a quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed walking around the neighborhood and restaurant row in La Verne. Mostly we spend a lot of time on this trip just relaxing at the house. The shower has a tub, which believe you me, after a day of out n about is awesome to come home to a relaxing bath. We Absolutely loved making meals together in their kitchen (which is like my dream kitchen). The couch is so comfy. WiFi connection is good, although we hardly used it. Also enjoyed being out in the backyard. Whether we were doing laundry or just enjoying the morning and evening air together…overall it was the perfect getaway home & experience. We cannot Thank our wonderfully accommodating host Amanda enough for thinking of everything and making our vacation time so special. We hope to come again soon.

We loved the cottage and its convenient location near La Verne and Los Angeles. La Verne was just minutes away and had everything we needed, including grocery stores, restaurants, Target, and plenty of shopping. The bikes were a wonderful bonus, and our kids had a great time riding around La Verne. We would definitely recommend staying here and look forward to coming back.

An adorable and cozy cottage - we only wish we had spent more time here! But it was a great launching pad for hikes in the mountains and time on the Claremont College campuses. The place is nicely decorated and clean, and the host was quite responsive.
