Great location. Really enjoyed the patio and ambiance. Very helpful as we were visiting our daughter n their partner. They are moving to New Zealand and their aptment no longer had a table n chairs so it was really nice to enjoy dinner on the patio with them.

We loved staying in this cottage. The location was ideal -- very close to shops and restaurants. It was clean and comfortable, with two nice bedrooms, updated bath, and fully equipped kitchen. Communication with the host was easy. I would definitely stay here again.

Great Stay!

We enjoyed the convenient location to Pasadena, Glendale, and Occidental College. We had a comfortable stay and also enjoyed the outdoor space. We would come again!

The cottage is in a nice neighborhood and very close to Old Town Pasadena - about a mile and we walked there easily. The host contacted me ahead of time with check in information and parking instructions (parking on premises behind an automatic gate), and there was also a guest folder in the cottage with all the information we needed for our stay. The cottage was well appointed with basic bathroom products and kitchen items. It was clean and comfy and worked well for the 4 of us.

Great place to stay! Very nice space in a nice, quiet neighborhood. Walking distance to a grocery store, donut shop, etc., which were very close by. Also, walking distance just a little farther to many fast food places, Walgreens, etc. The space itself was very nice! Comfortable beds, nice kitchen & bathroom. Highly recommended!

Perfect Place in Pasadena

Everything about the City of Roses Retreat exceeded our expectations. It was just the type of place we wanted! Gloria was a great host, and provided us with everything we could have needed. When we come back to Pasadena, this place will be at the top of our list. ☺️

Lovely place with a great patio

It was everything for a fun weekend going to the Rose 🌹 Bowl. Cute cottage with all the amenities. Since we were 5 adults, we were grateful to the additional bed in the mini cottage. The host was extremely prompt in responses ( even when out of the country!)

The listing was as advertised - but the patio was a great plus - a private oasis near the Pasadena Rose Parade route. Gloria was responsive and a great host.

Nice Cottage in a Nice Neighborhood

My family and I really enjoyed our stay here. The property met our needs (three adults and an almost teenager). Everything was clean and comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet and nice to walk in, especially towards the Bungalow Heaven neighborhood. There are lots of food options nearby that are walkable. It was in a great location (in our opinion) to visit Hollywood, Long Beach, Simi Valley and Huntington Beach. Excellent communication with the host. Would definitely stay here again.

Home away from home

We stayed from 8/31 to 9/4 to help our daughter move into grad school. Great proximity to Caltech well as many restaurants and shopping. Check in was simple with the key box, loved the privacy/security gate for the guest house as we had two cars full of luggage and dorm items. Great outdoor space, laundry, well appointed modern kitchen, toiletries and very comfy beds. Nice touch with the coffee syrups and beans set up in the kitchen. Gloria was so hospitable and even helped us take delivery of a pretty heavy shipment from Amazon prior to our arrival. All instructions were detailed and helpful and the gathering space/dining was comfortable for 3 adults. Hope to stay here again in the future!

Convenient, quiet spot for our family to stay while attending a wedding in Pasadena. Gloria’s communication was excellent, the check-in process was smooth, and the kitchen was well-stocked with coffee (much appreciated!) and some fun sweets for the kiddos.
