Excellent, helpful staff. Very very clean! Good parking. Fair breakfast. Room 120-handicapped room. Bathroom door rotting and peeling. Shower floor extremely slippery. Baseboard off in room. Bed sheets poor quality and so thin you can read through them. Shower chair screws loose. This room is an accident waiting for a place to happen. But. It was very clean and great staff!

Unfortunately the boiler broke so hot water wasn’t available in the guest rooms. The hotel offered us a refund so we could stay somewhere else. Since we were only staying one night, we made due with cold showers. Staff very friendly. Rooms good sized and beds comfortable.

Loved the breakfast -- it was THE best free breakfast I've had at a hotel in long time. Everything was extremely clean! And the showers were hot. There were a few quirks. They were pretty stingy with the towels, refusing to give us enough for the number of people in our room. The air conditioner leaked, and the lock on the bathroom was broken. The wifi didn't work most of the time.

I stayed one night at this hotel while visiting family. While the location, price, and staff were all excellent, the quality of the in-room maintenance and cleaning was disappointing, which would prevent me from staying here again. The Positives The front desk staff were friendly and the check-in process was fast and easy. The hotel's location is fantastic for accessing the surrounding area, and the price was quite reasonable for what I booked. The main areas of the room felt genuinely clean, the Wi-Fi was fast and easy to connect to, and I really appreciated the small touch of a night light in the bathroom. The Negatives Unfortunately, several maintenance and cleanliness issues made the stay uncomfortable: * Pest Issue: The most serious problem was the presence of ants entering the room near the air conditioner. I even found one in the bed, which is unacceptable and a major issue for cleanliness. * Shower Quality: The shower was frustrating to use. While the water pressure was good, the shower head itself was faulty, barely letting water out in most modes and resulting in a weak, disappointing spray. * Deep Cleaning/Maintenance: The shower also needs attention, with missing grout and visible grime in the corners that requires a deep clean. * Minor Issue: The toilet lacked a soft-close seat, resulting in noticeable noise. Final Verdict The excellent staff and great location show this hotel has potential, but the significant issue with pests and the very obvious maintenanc

Very pleased

This hotel was nice, service was so friendly and the room comfortable. The decor had been updated and everything was very clean. My only complaint was the only outdoor seating area was small, for smoking and not shaded in anyway. Even in the mornings, east Texas is hot and a little shade would have been nice especially since I’m outside person it would have been a nice amenity. Other than that I would definitely stay again.
