The Mitre Hotel is full of history and character. It's in the perfect location for visiting Hampton Court. All staff are friendly and helpful, making you feel welcome and nothing is too much trouble. Food and drinks were delicious, once again staff catering above and beyond for food allergies and intolerances.

Fabulous hotel in the perfect spot

Superb hotel in a great location. Staff are excellent, rooms are spacious and luxurious. Parking is great value and the breakfast overlooking the river is fabulous. Definitely 5 star.

Amazing hotel!

We had a lovely stay for 4 nights with 3 kids and our dog Butter. The location was amazing and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We loved the food at the restaurant. We also enjoyed a quiet moment at the little library. Will come back to stay again in the future!

We enjoyed a relaxing stay at the Mitre. The room was comfortable and we were pleased to have a fan during such hot weather.It is convenient for the station with a direct service to Waterloo. The Mitre is opposite Hampton Court Palace which is always worth a visit

Old world gem with old school service

Our second stay and already a firm favourite. Lovely location, old world feel but with comfortable, extremely good facilities. Super restaurant, nice breakfast choices. Most of all though it’s about the warm, caring people throughout the business.

The location was perfect, we were even able to park our car with the aid of a friendly concierge who looked after us well. Inside the hotel was wonderfully querkie the room was spacious as was the bathroom, all well decorated and fitted out. The main plus was the staff. Coming from the north, we pride ourselves on friendliness, but the staff in the Mitre made our break so good. On the desk, in the restaurants, in the bar, all were helpful and friendly and we can’t wait to come back next year for the festival. Can’t recommend it highly enough. Thank you

We love the Mitre.

All good. Had room upgrade. Room was a good distance but was large and comfortable. Bed was around 4feet off the ground in our room called William but was very comfortable. Staff were all very helpful. Had one small issue which was we were not allowed in the garden area to have drinks early evening although we did order some popcorn cauliflower. We were asked to go in a small area outside. It was very early and very quiet so couldn’t agree it was right to not allow us in the lovely garden area. Otherwise no complaints. I thought as residents we could have our drinks etc in any area of the restaurant. David Room.

Lovely hotel in a great location. All the staff we dealt with were very pleasant and efficient. The breakfast was excellent, both the food and the service. Fortunately we parked in the limited on-site spaces without any problem.
