All in all a solid 2/10. I stayed one night as I was heading to Heathrow the next day. Check in - long queues. There were staff behind the desks. They were just too busy to deal with the guests. Long wait. Staff attitude was best described as pretentious. Get to the room. It looks very 80s. Very outdated. The bed was nice enough I guess. A lovely view of a car park. Bathroom. Hmmm. There is some brown stuff on the bathtub. Brown stuff. And, well, how do I describe this... It looks like the previous guest was male and may have slightly 'missed' the toilet while urinating. Rather than cleaning the mess up, it looked like it had just dried up. Yummy.
Then the following morning was the cherry on top. After checking out, I wanted some food. I was denied entry to the restaurant because I had my cabin bag with me. IT IS AN AIRPORT HOTEL. They have this mindset like it's the finest hotel in the world and yet it's shabby, outdated and they don't even bother cleaning urine off the floor...
Executive summary - find somewhere better.
