All in all a solid 2/10. I stayed one night as I was heading to Heathrow the next day. Check in - long queues. There were staff behind the desks. They were just too busy to deal with the guests. Long wait. Staff attitude was best described as pretentious. Get to the room. It looks very 80s. Very outdated. The bed was nice enough I guess. A lovely view of a car park. Bathroom. Hmmm. There is some brown stuff on the bathtub. Brown stuff. And, well, how do I describe this... It looks like the previous guest was male and may have slightly 'missed' the toilet while urinating. Rather than cleaning the mess up, it looked like it had just dried up. Yummy. Then the following morning was the cherry on top. After checking out, I wanted some food. I was denied entry to the restaurant because I had my cabin bag with me. IT IS AN AIRPORT HOTEL. They have this mindset like it's the finest hotel in the world and yet it's shabby, outdated and they don't even bother cleaning urine off the floor... Executive summary - find somewhere better.

Very comfortable and clean hotel, spacious room - slept very well after a long flight. I liked the Old English theme with paintings, a grandfather clock etc., and also the Indian theme. Breakfast was abundant and good quality. Would happily return!

The onsite parking is brilliant and the hotel is under £20 in an Uber or Cab to/from Terminal 3 or 5. We’ve stayed a few times and it’s quiet so getting a good nights sleep is easy.

It was super convenient for where I needed to be, buses were frequent with bus stops three minutes walk away. The hotel itself was very comfortable, clean and quiet. The guy who checked me in was a bit flustered, but he then gave me an early check in at no extra cost. All other staff I dealt with were friendly and professional. I would certainly stay here again.

Arrived to a rude man at reception, he asked for reservation details and confirmed. He then runs off to the back, returns after 5 mins and says ‘sorry, no rooms’ I questioned this as I had paid in full for the room. He disappeared again this time for 15mins to return to say ‘ok you can have a room’ Slaps the card key on the desk. I then go to my room to find they had put me in a twin bed room instead of the superior king that I paid for. One bed had marks and stains on the sheets. No VIP benefits

The reception is very impressive. The rooms don’t quite live up to initial expectation but comfortable, same standard as a premier. There were a few glitches. Our key didn’t work. The kettle didn’t work. The phone didn’t work. Staff friendly. Convenient for airport. Good food. Spa not open. Gym by appointment

Arrived at the hotel having parked the car to reception failing to answer the door bell or call to reception. Had to walk around to the front to gain access. Extra charge for car parking if £16 on top of the room as well as an additional £28 each for breakfast. Extortionate!!!! Having just returned from Peru where the hospitality was excellent felt such a let down returning home.
