The location is great, the property “photographs well” It’s been refurbished cheaply or still in the process of renovation. The ‘feel’ of the place is a little run down and needs a good cleaning

Very basic and in need of refurbishment. Staff were very helpful and courteous. Room was clean with drink making facility but nowhere for clothes to go. Certainly not luxury but functional for one night. Good wine bar very near and a couple of restaurants.

Where do I start? Completely catfished by photos online. No toilet paper, chipped paint, broken doorknobs and locks, bad plumbing, no staff on site, TV did not work, corroded shower head, given stained towels. We had to buy toilet paper and towels from a local shop. No amenities whatsoever. Would I book again? Hard No! I recommend anyone looking for a place to stay to look elsewhere. Honestly I’m not sure if i should consider using this site to book my next trip. There has to be a way to protect travelers from this type of experience. Absolutely horrible. Room not safe, and absolutely disgusting. This is a sorry excuse for a hotel.

Avoid at all costs, the room smelt of sewage literally. It looked nothing like the pictures. I had to leave early as I was worried I'd smell for my meetings due to the room odor. This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in and the ownership tried lying in order to not give a refund. Luckily I had everything in writing.

Awful. GDPR breached at check in. Waited 40 mins to check in. Room was so dirty we didn’t end up staying and booked somewhere else. Requested a full refund. Still waiting on the hotels response on that front. Expedia have not been helpful whatsoever regarding any of this matter.

The room was hot and the check in process was more difficult than it needed to be. The check in is done online via whatsapp and our code for our room did not work, so they had to remotely unlock our room after we massaged them on whatsapp. nobody actually works at the hotel property, and the front door was always open which felt unsafe. the room was so hot, and the remote for the fan and light wasn’t working so we couldn’t turn it on. we eventually figured out that the batteries were in upside down, but the remote had no batteries at all. We had to switch the batteries back and forth to use the remote and fan, and they did not bring replacement batteries. they also required a security deposit that was more then double the price of the room, but we got it back after the trip.

Surprisingly nice, super easy checkin using email sent, everything worked, and was clean with a good bed, solin functioning shower, kettle, and quiet.

This was easily one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. The overall cleanliness of the room was extremely poor, and to make matters much worse, I woke up at around 2:00 AM to find bed bugs in and around the bed. The room already did not feel properly cleaned or maintained, but discovering bed bugs in the middle of the night was the final straw. I had my suitcase and belongings in the room, which meant I then had to worry about potentially carrying bed bugs with me for the rest of my trip. I was so uncomfortable with the condition of the room that I could not continue staying there. I packed my belongings and left in the middle of the night, then had to find and pay for alternative accommodation at very short notice. This completely disrupted my trip and cost me hours of sleep. A hotel does not need to be luxurious, but it should at the very least be clean and provide a sanitary place to sleep. This property failed badly at that. I took photos and videos of the bed bugs as evidence. Based on the bed bugs and the general lack of cleanliness I experienced, I would absolutely not stay here again and cannot recommend it to other travellers. The staff did not even bother getting back to me even after I made a formal complaint and refused to offer a refund.

Be fully informed that this is a self check-in hotel. There is no staff member there. You need a code to get into the hotel and the room, but they won't give it to you right away and they were slow to respond to my inquiry, and it is not clear how to talk to them, since the company name is different from the hotel name. You need to send a photo of your ID and pay a 100 pound safety deposit above the cost of the hotel to receive your codes. There are two buildings, 43 and 45, so you need to be sure you're in the right building. There is no elevator. We were on the 3rd floor and there is no air conditioning so it was blazing hot. It didn't look like the carpet had been vacuumed in quite some time. The rooms are slightly larger than a closet. It was, let's say, an ordeal.

Great price for a nice room, bed was comfortable, it was close to the grocery shop, close to the Hammersmith night life, the bus stopped very close and took your straight to the underground station that had everything you could want.

We left 24 hours early when spiders started to crawl out the bed There were ants and an ants nest in the place. We had a broken fan - which we finally managed to mend but was so weak it was ineffective, in the heat. We notified the staff via the website daily. I made a phone call prior to arrival asking if there was air conditioning and was assured there was, or we would not have booked - when we arrived there was none I requested an additional fan prior to arrival, and was assured every day there would be one, but there never was. I called prior to arrival asking for extra bedding for the sofa and was assured it would be there, but it never appeared. A dirty sponge was left in the kitchen for us to move and cigarettes right outside our window. There was no toilet roll in the place. We had to hunt for a shop on arrival to buy some. WE LEFT 24 HOURS early as the situation was unbearable. Our stay in London was completely ruined. I am requesting compensation and a refund
