Mattress was old and too soft. Edges worn, so when I rolled over, it was either rolling off the bed, or into a freezing cold wall. It was also lumpy. Bathroom so tight I bumped elbows with every move. Shower so tight, when dropped the shampoo, I had to get out and bend over into shower to retrieve it. Its not even big enough to change your mind, if you wanted to. Its just big enough to stand in, nothing more. The room itself was tight and restrictive. I wouldn't stay again. Maximum profit for least amount of space.

Location was perfect. The spot is small and it’s a bit beaten down but it was still a good stay and did the job for a great fair price.

I had a wonderful stay at ND Hotel. The man on the desk was lovely, he went above and beyond to store my luggage prior to check in and then when I arrived later in the day to check in he had kindly taken my suitcase to my room. The room had all the basic facilities I needed: a fan and heater, a smart TV, a fridge. The only down side was the room was slightly dusty and could have done with a hoover and mop especially in places that were not initially visible by the eye eg under the bed. However, for the price it was a great stay and in a brilliant location. I will definitely be back!

Honestly don’t know how this place has any good reviews. For starters when you book you book a specific room… yet the room looked like nothing like the photos. The walls were dirty the floors were dirty. The shower was unusably dirty. The noise in the courtyard in front of our room kept us up all night. Thank god we were only staying one night. I would not recommend.

The location was really good it is near Kensington Palace and there are lots of shops and cafes/restaurants nearby so you can buy breakfast as the hotel does not provide it. I was worried about some terrible reviews on Google after booking but I needn’t have worried. The hotel may have been a bit run down with cracks, dents and marks on the walls and limescale on the taps but it was clean with no sign of bedbugs. I don’t know what all the rooms are like but I recommend room 16, I liked being able to book the room that I was staying in from the photos on expedia. At check-in they did not ask for a breakage deposit like some google reviews mentioned but they did ask for ID which is unusual for a domestic stay in this country. There is an electric fan in the room which was really good in this hot weather. My hotel stay was acceptable for the price, if the hotel was renovated it would probably be a lot more expensive. The hotel’s real name is New Dawn hotel not ND hotel could it be called ND hotel on expedia to escape the bad reviews on google?

Very cold, very small room where yoa are not able to close the bathroom door. No place for luggage. Photographer who took the pics of the rooms is amazing. From the photos you can not see the fact that you can not even move inside, there is just two unconfortable beds and poor shower/toilet.

The location was great! I found it almost dangerous though to climb all the way to top floor and down with luggage, especially the last set of stairs. There is no elevator. And the staff only stay until 9p. If something happened in the night, no one there!

This the first property I’ve been to where they provide pets in room. I was greeted by bugs on my bed and hairs. The room had real character also with brown and white stains around the room. I also liked the unique bathroom door one of a kind felt like having 2 entrances to the shower. Kind regards Jake

they only did clearing once during my 8 days in the hotel! I have to carry rubbish to the rubbish bin outside the hotel door. The room is very small, hardly put large luggage inside. You almost can not turn around in the small bathroom. odor smell in the toilet. the only good thing is cheap.
