This is not a 5-star hotel experience. I called several times in advance to request an early check-in, and although one hour earlier was eventually agreed, when I arrived at the confirmed time the room was still not ready. The room itself had an unpleasant smell and was not in great condition. The carpet looked very worn, and the shower had significant limescale build-up. The hotel overall feels quite dark due to very low lighting in common areas, and there is only one lift, which is extremely slow. The rooms are also not soundproof, so you can clearly hear traffic and people outside — especially given how busy the King’s Cross area is. Overall, I would rate this closer to a 3-star hotel. The main positive aspect is the convenient location.

Das Zimmer war nicht riesig, aber cooles Design, super sauber, gemütliches Bett, tolle Dusche. Das Personal extrem freundlich und hilfreich, und die Bar im Untergeschoss ist aussergewöhnlich und toll. Das alles war schon grossartig, aber am allerbesten ist die Lage - direkt an Kings Cross, also viele Transportmöglichkeiten gleich daneben, viele nette Restaurants, West End und Covent Garden in 30' zu Fuss super zu erreichen... Ich komme gern wieder!
