Room was very nice, can't be faulted, very quite so got plenty of sleep.
Staff could do with some training on how to welcome and smile at guests. Must have walked into that hotel 8 - 9 times during my stay, only 1 staff member ever greeted me with a hello the rest just kept their heads down.
And seriously, why are you charging £2 for a bar of chocolate? Is the price your charging per night not enough? There's a Tesco 2 minutes down the road and you're trying to scrap every penny out of your customers, not even buscuits with the tea.
Oh and another thing that seemed to have been too much bother for the staff was to take my bag up to my room when I dropped it off. When I've stayed overseas they've always just put my bag in my room for me. To be fair that's not a unique criticism of this hotel, but if you want to stand out and go the extra mile for their customers then try doing things like that.
