The beds were hard and uncomfortable and the pillows flat. The complimentary bottles of water were small. I ran out of toilet paper. It was okay for a short time, but just wasn't worth the price.
The hotel is in a great location - we walked to a few different tube and bus lines easily, restaurants and small grocery stores were fairly close, and it was very quiet. The room was very nice and extremely clean. We were there for almost a week and were very happy that we stayed here.
Lovely hotel, good location, clean, quiet with a great shower. Gave us muffins and a bottle of water which was appreciated.
Only issue, which was my fault, I thought a small double room meant the room was small and had a double bed. It means that there is a small double bed (maybe single and 1/2) in the room! Bit tight for two people.
The room was comfortable and quiet, in a very handy location. The staff at check-in were very pleasant and efficient. We didn’t have any problems, but I m sure they would have been there to help if needed
Fantastic air-conditioning - recommend staying here for that alone!

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Our room wasn’t the cleanest, wallpaper ripped, walls/ceilings not painted, and the upstairs room was so hot we couldn’t use it during the day. My 80year old mum had to sleep on top of the sofa bed with the window open, which was noisy, to be able to be comfortable enough to sleep . This place was meant to be air conditioned and whilst the downstairs room was coolish, this definitely wasn’t the case upstairs. It was stifling!
The milk that was left in the fridge curdled when poured into the cup of tea five times. When I asked at reception for more milk and teabags I was met with hostility (maybe due to language barrier) and waited ten mins for the receptionist to get more milk! The first one I tried also curdled but after that. I finally got a cup of tea!
We are very disappointed and despite saying there would 24/7 reception we were met with a sign several times even this morning as we left! I was therefore unable to state my concerns about the standard of the room we had! We returned from a day trip at 3pm yesterday and the cleaner asked if she could finish the upstairs bathroom - there was a huge smell of bleach once she was finished and when my mum got up this morning she has bleach stains/dots on her navy blue trousers which is irremovable. We took photos of both the curdled milk and bleach stained trousers should they be required.
I will publish this review more widely should the need arise as I feel strongly that people should know what they’re paying for.
I was surprised that my room was not made up on the morning after after my 1st night at the hotel, despite hanging the 'please make up room' notice on the door.
The label had been turned to 'do not disturb' presumably by housekeeping
Having paid in excess of £400 for 2 nights with NO food provided then the least I would have expected would be to have the bins emptied and the fridge topped up
The hotel was great, small, spotless and in a very quiet yet fairly central location with very helpful staff. I booked a “small double room”, thinking this meant a small room with a double bed, it actually means a room with a small double bed as in a 3/4 size double bed. I think the wording on the room type should be changed as this meant that me and my adult daughter had to share a very small bed for two nights!
I planned the visit with easy access to Heathrow via the Elizabeth line which would have been perfect if the trains had not been a chaos due to the heatwave. This was off-course not the hotels fault and the air conditioning at the hotel made the stay comfortable.
Stayed for 1 night, very convenient location close to Farringdon tube and Chancery Lane, room was clean and comfortable, the shower was nice and powerful, the staff on the front desk were very helpful, would recommend to others.
Stayed during a heat wave and the air conditioning worked brilliantly. The staff were also brilliant when I turned up at 10.30pm to check in. Nice room/bed and great shower too.
Firstly this is not a 4 star hotel. It's at best a 3 star hotel. Rooms very small, no amenities. Location is good but clearly they market the rooms as 4 star hotel and over charge. It's basically a small building with tiny rooms and for the price you can get better. Location is good though.
Fairly small and I wouldn’t have wanted to share the double bed with someone else as it would have been a bit too cosy! The room was also quite warm and the air conditioning was very poor quality so just had to have the window open instead which was fine but means you get all the street noise
