I’d like a refund for the first night please

I arrived. Third floor up with two suitcases I hadn’t taken into account. No heating. No hot water. The next day I called the office only to be told ‘I had no common sense’ more than once as I had not used the thermostat. Ah ha that thing that goes round and round and makes no difference at all! The wonderful handy man cam around and told me the boiler was turned off (it was in the roof). The second night was warm and all was well.

Due to an issue on the property’s side I could not stay at that property and had been moved to nell Gwynn apartments. There was no hassle and I was dealt with respectfully. I enjoyed my stay.

Management was very proactive with issues. Excellent location. Loved the view from the living room windows. Disliked that there was no coffee maker. No elevator.

Our stay was for two weeks and it was in the studio apartment, which served the two of us exceptionally well. We used it as a base while visiting London and doing overnight visits to other parts of England. The room was clean, quiet, comfortable, and provided ample space. The area was nice and quiet. We never felt unsafe. There are a few stores nearby, which is important since you will need to supply your own food and bottled water. We found stopping by a M&S Food store while out in the city sufficient for our needs. There are a couple of restaurants nearby by but they are expensive and, TBH, not that great. You'll need to travel to King's St to find decent and affordable food. Likewise, Chelsea is outside of the center of London, where most of the attractions are, but this is easily dealt with by using the nearby underground or the numerous minicabs that patrol the area. I recommend avoid using UBER. We had too many problems with them and resorted to just using the minicabs. Yes, it cost a little more, but you get drivers who really know the area. We were directed to some great restaurants and were given other valuable tips by drivers who grew up in the city. They often had stories to tell, which brought the history of the city to life. In conclusion, this is a great location and my wife and I both agree that if we ever do another extended trip to London, this would be the place we would stay.

Handy location with all facilities...

We stayed in the Elystan St. apartment for 9 nights. Our apartment was in the 2nd floor and there was no lifts. Check in process was simple and communicated by email. Location is great, close to Sloane Square and South Kensington tube stations and on the Piccadilly line. Also within easy walking distance of the museums. Apartment is convenient with kitchen and laundry facilities. No oven, but there was a cooktop and microwave. You will need to buy dishwashing liquid and washing powder. It would have been a nice gesture to provide a bit of each to start the guests off. Another nice to have would have been to have the linen and towels changed halfway through our stay instead of being rigid about changing linens only after a week, which for us was just two days before we left. Also we didn't get any response to our email requesting for drapes on the windows as the slatted blinds were letting in a lot of light. Overall it is a convenient place and for a family with kids even better value as there is additional sleeping options in the loft.

Location of the property is excellent, within 10 minutes walk to South Kensington Station & other bus routes. Bit noisy as the apartment is at a juncture though not too busy traffic. Will be helpful if they can check & add shampoo utilities stuff during flat cleaning. Very pleasant stay!
