Housekeeping so poor, bedroom was rendered useless
The apartment was in a perfect location for our London stay. The size was adequate but would have preferred an apartment above street level.
Our problem began when we opened the door and it smelled of mould. A strong pungent odour.
We found fuzzy mould growing on the carpet in the bedroom. We attempted to clean it up using travel products we had with us but couldn’t remove the smell.
I notified the booking service and they responded the next day. It was investigated by them and advised it had been remedied.
My wife slept on the lounge for the entire stay as the mould continued to irritate her throat. I slept in the bedroom as there was no where else to sleep and can report I have left with an eye infection.
We were offered 1/2 price stay.
Due to the London marathon being on we couldn’t find an alternate accommodation elsewhere available in the area close to the rest of our travelling group.
Not a great stay, ruined by poor housekeeping which has led to an infection and really an unusable bedroom but I will say that the team responded quickly with our feedback
Should have received a full refund.

Lovely apartment, great location
We found the apartment easily, walked from Kings Cross around 15 minutes. The accommodation is lovely, a couple of things reported to maintenance - very loose kitchen tap and excessively noisy air circulation system. We were in Apartment 11 which is top floor. Quiet location, Uber eats delivers!

The -points. We were given the wrong apartment so had 1 bed less with bedding but no covers/sheets and only towels for 3 not 4. The office was closed when we arrived and out of hours was not helpful at all. Needs to have a proper out of hours for the actual apartment owners. Also need a manual for the very confusing oven/grill combo!
To be fair, hotels.com issued a refund for inconvenience and the apartment owners refunded the 1st nights fee so a good ending to a poor experience. That said would recommend and would use again

The app to unlock the key didn’t work. I arrived late and the office was closed. I was able to reach key maintenance to locate the emergency key. I booked for 2 nights, but I was never able to stay in the room. Bathroom floor was dirty, bedsheets had stains, a chair had a full on hand shaped stain with black marks. That’s without the cobwebs anywhere you look.
Since I couldn’t get support at the time, I reached out to Hotels.com for help. They told me they reached out to the hotel to enquire about refund, but two days later, the hotel told me they were never notified. Sadly a shitshow across the board where not only did I lose that money but also had to find an alternative on very short notice.

Lits pourris ! Les ressorts incrustés dans le dos
En théorie cet établissement est tenu par un hotte professionnel! Chose qui est un énorme mensonge! C’est un appartement qui a été ferait à la va vite avec des matériaux bon marché , même le sol n’a pas être mis à niveau. Les lits , tous les lits sont tellement usés que les ressorts s’incrustent dans le dos pendant toute la nuit! Aucune gestion du bruit, une vrai passoire thermique .. les radiateurs marchaient à peu près mais celui dans la chambre de ma fille n’éteint pas accesible donc il faisait un froid de canard. Le bruit de la rue est tellement présent qu’on dirait qu’on dormais dans le trottoir .. pourtant c’est une rue assez calme comparés aux autres rues.. donc même pas de double vitrage .. pourquoi faire ils encaissent et puis ce tout! Aucune instruction pour le check in… après avoir envoyé tous les documents requis , silence total .. on a dû téléphoner une fois sur place pour qu’une fille assez embêté car c’était plus de 17h nous a envoyé les codes!!! Raz le bol de ces gens qui s’improvisent hôteliers! L’hôtellerie c’est un métier!!!
