Worst hotel

Worst place to stay. Zero value for money.

No lock in the room, cockroaches in cupboard, intercom does not work, AC was not properly working initially, toilet basin pipe was leaking and floor got wet..later on fixed. One wall mounting fan was hanging down..later fixed. Balcony is never cleaned..chairs and tables are full of mud. Tea/coffee sachets were not replenished unless asked for. I paid 14K for 2 nights on BB basis(2 adults+1 child). Will.never recommemd . Expedia should be held squarely responsible for making such exegerated recommendation .Worst hotel experience in my life.

Can be chosen

Overall resort is good but services to be improved. You have to ask again again for toiletries. Package was including wifi but wifi was not provided. Lift was also malfunctioning often. Water park and location is excellent.

Very bad experience

Kumar Resort is out dated When I first walked into the lobby, it was a mess, unattractive, and the desk attendant was rude. next getting items into the hotel was extremely rough and the room was dirty. Mirror was not clean. the clean towels were rough. No hair dryer or iron or refrigerater in the rooms. dishes was dirty. Complementary breakfast was not good. No proper room service. NEVER again will I stay at this place and would like to get a refund back for the horrible shock and experience we had staying at this hotel. They charged us Rs 8000/- for one night stay. Also in water park water was dirty and rides were not maintained. VERY DIRTY.

Go for Water Park only, not rooms

We we're 3 families stayed for a night in new building of Kumar Resorts. Arrival was shaky as the person at reception was rude. No reservation was sent by hotel.com even if we booked 3 weeks in advance. Was asked to produce evidenc of booking. Manager intervened to allow late check-out at 1pm against checkout time of 10 am. That was asked during booking as well and it happened finally. Reception is in old building and rooms we got w in new building. Ground and first floor of new building is a kids play and game zone with extremely loud music playing the whole day. Don't expect peaceful time in room from 10am till 10 pm. Rooms were basic and not worth the money. Bathroom tap wasn't working properly in (401). Towels and drinking water bottle had to be called for as the rooms were not ready probably because they didn't get the booking from hotel.com Game zone on ground floor has ample stuff to keep kids happy. Water park in the property has some decent rides and plenty of swimming pools. Kids enjoyed the water park which opens at 9:30. Water park entry was free for residents. Breakfast buffet was normal, nothing extra ordinary. Resort is on old Mumbai Pune highway with plenty of shops and in middle of Lonavala market. You would get a feel of staying inside of a shopping mall full of kids games instead of staying in a resort. Swimming pools are accessible only when water park is open. Overall... Just ok. Water park is highlight, not the hotel.

Hotel condition needs to improve

Good for water park, but hotel condition needs to improve. Cleanliness is the main factor of rooms which needs to improve along with proper AC functioning. The restaurant food is very good.

A very bad experience very rude front desk,extra charges and zero customer service. They are only bothered about charging you for every little thing. I would not recommend even if free.

It's ok but not worth d money

It's a waste of money. The AC was not working & no one was bothered about it. Upon frequent requests for checking the issue manager asked us to shift to another room which was not worth the price we paid. Hotel staff need to be more professional.
