"The cottage is as described on the site. The living areas are pleasant and bright with a nice view of the lake. As others have noted, the property is close to a busy road, but you don't notice this at all once you're indoors, and this also means it's close to a grocery store and the shops in Wautoma. We locked ourselves out by mistake one afternoon and Danny was quick to respond to my messages and very helpful in resolving the situation. Thanks to Danny for a very pleasant stay."

"This is an excellent lower cost motel. It is not the Four Seasons or The Plaza, but it doesn't cost like those places. The room is nice and very clean. The shower has loads of hot water. The bed is comfortable; the people are nice. Breakfast is some fruit and sweet rolls. Maybe the coffee could be a bit better but that's our only downgrade. This is value and for the dollar spent it is excellent value, actually it exceeded our expectations. We pass through this area every year on a way to a family reunion and this place has never let us down. The rooms have been upgraded over the years, and you will not find better at this price point. This is value for a night's stay. There are resorts in this area that charge five times the nightly cost and more but for a night's stay in our opinion you won't do better for the dollar spent. We'll be staying here next year when we pass this way again and we think we'll be happy."

"We had a great stay at the lake here! The place was very clean with a lot of nice upgrades and touches you don’t usually find in a VRBO (well stocked kitchen with tons of dishes, welcome basket, games and books, etc). The house also has a ton of amenities to appeal to everyone’s interests. We enjoyed the fire pit, paddle boards, trampoline, billiards man cave in the garage and air hockey table. It was nice having several gathering spaces for a big group of people too so everyone had space to spread out and relax. We were there over the 4th of July and there were a lot of great fireworks over the lake without going into town. Also the town had a couple good restaurants and boutiques."
