"The only even slightly-bad thing I can say is that breakfast was... uninspiring; the kind of thing we used to expect 20 years ago on road trips. They did have a Waffle machine but no good toppings for it (a can of whipped cream and not-maple Syrup) - we hit multiple relatively-budget hotels on this road trip, and everywhere else had some sort of compote and/or fresh berries.
Everything else though was tremendous - polite, chatty, informative, efficient desk clerks, a remarkably-varied vending machine, easy parking, enough luggage trolleys, and while we had a glitch with our sink next morning (stopper went down fine to fill basin for shaving, but pulling the wee handle behind the tap did nothing to raise it so we were stuck with soapy water) they sent maintenance around within literally two minutes!
Things go wrong, but the response time was phemonemal, cannot fault their service.
Multiple dining options within a couple of blocks walk, a list of businesses offering discounts to guests, and chatting with the clerk I was informed they even send the staff on tours around local wineries etc. so they can better recommend attractions to guests.
We have noticed that the 'and Suites' versions of Quality Inns as better, but this was genuinely the best experience I've had with the chain - would not hesitate to stay again or recommend it to anyone visiting Vernon."
