We stay at the same time every year, and there has been the same issue for the past couple of years: the septic needs to be pumped sooner. We were affected by the smell when we were having dinner at the Bistro, as we could smell the septic system (feces) during dinner. In addition, the toilet in our room would not flush, and had to be plunged -- in itself an ordeal as there is only one plunger for the entire complex. Every room should have a plunger.

A lovely facility in a not so great area of town right on a very busy highway 97 in and out of Vernon. Rooms are quiet but balcony on west side of suites is very noisy. Would however definately stay there again.

The property and rooms are very nice extremely spacious. We got a VIP bottle of wine in our room but unfortunately the room only had one wine glass and it wasn’t very clean so I had to wash it I don’t like the fact that they take a $200 deposit and it doesn’t go right back on the card afterwards most hotels release the hold and it shows up immediately. They say it’s the credit card but if it’s the credit card that would happen all the time, the whole amount seems excessive if it was $5100 like most hotels then I could handle a little bit better. The girl at the front desk was nice but not overly friendly. She sped out the instructions kind of like rules. She made it very clear that I would be charged five dollars for the two room keys. She gave me if I didn’t return them. Also, there is a note in the washroom saying that if you dirty their linens or towels that you will get an extra charge they do provide make up wipes, which was very convenient. As nice as the hotel was, I doubt I would stay there again just because of the credit card hold alone.

The unit was clean and comfortable. We had no issues checking in and the staff was very friendly. We appreciated how private the unit felt and we had no issues with noise from other rooms. The only negative we had was the kitchen didn’t have any cooking sheets and we brought food to prepare in the oven.
