「Wonderful host and a wonderful place to have breakfast with a view. Would highly recommend this place as you travel the north coast 500.」

「Very lovely stay in the pod. It was clean and cozy and comfortable. We did not receive the instructions for how to check in but contacted the host and solved the problem. It was stressful because there is very little internet access in that area. The beautiful beach is a short walk away.」

「The hotel is not large, and whilst our room was clean and well maintained, was on the small side. The owner, who manned the reception desk and the bar, was quite a congenial, chatty guy. 「Beautiful place to stay with stunning surroundings! You can tell there is so much care and love put into this place. It was spotless and so well kept! The host goes the extra mile for their guests!」

「Le chemin pour se rendre à la maison est toute une aventure, mais ça vaut la peine! Maison entourée d’animaux. Les enfants ont adoré! Très belle plage à proximité 」

「Our room」

「We stayed in eight different hotels during our two week trip to the UK and this was by far our favorite because we booked a private in Japan cabin on the water. It was brand new and perfectly maintained and you could tell the owners really care. I can’t over emphasize how highly I am reading everything for this property, especially if you book the private cabins. Our next trip, we will make sure we stay here again!」

「The room in The Caledonian Hotel was clean and comfortable. We ate in the restaurant one evening and the food and service was really good. Our main issue was the rudeness of the Reception staff. Considering this is your first point of contact in the hotel, a smile, and pleasant word of greeting wouldn’t go amiss. Unfortunately both of these were lacking at The Caledonian. The lady behind the reception desk was very blunt and lacking in warmth or hospitality.」
