The website does not have the correct telephone number and the photos of rooms and descriptions don’t exactly match. I assume this is all temporary. "We were headed north to Durness, but the snow, dark, and road conditions required us to stop last minute in Ullapool. I made our room reservation sitting at the gas station down the street. Despite us being late and very last minute, the staff welcomed us warmly (thank you, Linda!), in less than a minute we were set up in our room. The accommodations were excellent--clean and modern but set within an older authentic hotel. The breakfast was delicious, and we slept well. Although we only spent <18 hours in Ullapool, we're now eager to go back and learn more about the town. We'll definitely hope to stay at the Caledonian again. "
