We stayed at SENSACIONS, Casa Lluxent Villa with private pool for 2 weeks at the end of September. CRITICAL: what is not clear from the pictures or the description of the accommodation is that it is situated in the middle of pig-farming country. About 100m below the house there is a large pig shet and throughout the valley there are several. CONSTANT NOISE PIGS: There is a near constant (85-90% of the time) noise of pigs squeal which has had a big negative impact on our stay. NIGHTTIME NOISE PIGS: In addition there are guard dogs/wild dogs who during the day one does not hear. But at night there is a continuous barking from multiple dogs. Bed Mattrasses: The mattresses in the property are old, worn and not of the best quality. These are essentially not fit for purpose and should all be replaced. A/C: the property has 3 bedrooms, only 1 has A/C. We managed by using the fan in the other bedroom, as was late summer, but all 3 bedrooms should be fitted with A/Cs.Positives: The pool is great, as is the outdoor barbeque facilities (covered, facilities for barbeque as well as Pizza oven). The view is wonderful and the owners are quick to reply and sort out critical issues (e.g. replacing of empty butane gas cylinder).Conclusion: We will not be staying here again, and would not recommend staying here.I have shared videos I recommend to review in my google maps review of ‘Casa lluxent’ Google Maps plus code: WJPW5M Llutxent, Spain
