My wife and I (+ dog) were the first guests at this cottage. We should be the first of many as this was an great place to stay. The attention to detail was excellent and their were lots of lovely touches throughout the cottage. The owners were most welcoming and generously allowed us to meet their animals, including donkeys, ponies and alpacas. There is a meadow on the site, where the owners have mowed a figure of 8 path which is great for exercising a dog. The local area does not offer any notible aminities, so be prepared to drive some distance for shopping and eating out, (but the countryside is superb). We had a wonderful stay; a home from home indeed. We may well make further bookings for Hen Llaeth.

A delightful cottage with so many unexpected extras ie maps marked with places of interest, dog bowls, dog blanket, the fluffiest towels ever. The owners were friendly but not over the top and we have never stayed anywhere where the dog has been made so welcome. The animals are gorgeous and the enclosed garden was perfect, even though we had loads of rain we still managed a drink on the patio in the sun without having to worry that Missy [dog] would escape. The location is a bit out of the way but it was exactly what we wanted and so much more besides. It was lovely coming back to a warm, comfy cottage that felt like home. Would we go back..........oh yes, definitely. Thanks Bill the beans and eggs were great, sorry we missed saying goodbye.
