Parking can be tricky but in four nights we managed to find a spot without too much trouble, just expect to park several blocks away for an unrestricted spot. "An unexpected delight. Basic clean room but with everything you need (except en-suite) but you know that when you book, although room did have a sink. The stairs might be a problem with the not so able bodied. A nice touch with a little tray of coffee, tea and biscuits. Great location very near sea front and castle. Remarkable breakfast with quality bacon, sausage and good coffee. The hosts, although only saw them at breakfast were very pleasant and attentive."

"A very nice hotel with lots of character and quirky features. It is ideally located next to the gorge walk and has a few tables outside on the pavement to make the most of the views. We had a room at the top of the hotel with a comfy large bed and lovely bathroom. The staff are young and enthusiastic but lack leadership as witnessed in the dining room. They were disorganised and seemed rather lost. The food at dinner was fairly average but perfectly acceptable."
