Then got told to my relief wasn’t our tent. Instead we were taken to another tent that was transparent in a small field squished in with another 5-6 tents and had a dirty deflated paddling pool in the centre. Again no beds were made so we had to wait outside with our stuff while a young lad threw some...

Superb location - ideally situated in easy walking distance of pub, shops and beach. Small but fenced garden for the dogs. It is beautifully designed and set up, really cosy and comfortable, and in an incredible setting with views of mountains, the Menai Strait and Penrhyn Castle. "I booked the hotel as a treat for my partners birthday. I felt the food was a little pricey for the choices available. Also we were quite a bit away from anything so if we wanted to have a drink together we wwre a bit stuck on places to go. However the room and amenities were great adn staff helpful. "

"Stayed here for a treat for our 20th wedding anniversary. Building is very interesting and the stay was great. Food in the restaurant was good (but be warned - the chef obviously likes his chillies judging by my Arrabiata and my wife's King Prawns!) The pool/spa was great - everything you would want and very clean. Would recommend for a relaxing break - go on treat yourself or someone you love."

"Inn is perfectly situated within the walls of Caernarfon Castle, convenient to shops, restaurants and bars. Staff are uniformly friendly and welcoming. My room (#34) was in an old building but had been completely modernized inside, including the bathroom. Room was immaculate and had plenty of well-located electrical outlets. Bed and linens were comfortable. Couldn't find a thermostat but HVAC seemed to be centrally controlled. It was nice and cozy by day and cooled down by bedtime; ditto for the heated towel rack. Breakfast was tasty and came quickly, accompanied by a big smile. Cold items were help-yourself and hot foods cooked to order. Dining room breathed history, as did the bar. Dinner was piping hot and tasty. "
