"A lovely family run hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was adequate for an overnight stay. There was a beautiful small beach across the road. We found there were not many dining options around, but we did eat at the cafeteria on the beach which served great food. The breakfast was ok and was served by the owners at your table."

"The central location in the older part of the city could not be bettere. Five minutes on foot from excellent restaurants and the Basilica. Front desk service was friendly and efficient with good English. "

"Very disappointed!. We feel cheated. When looking to book, the picture shows the Kaype Hotel on the see front, BUT when booking the room, the room description comes up as Kaype - Quintamar which is NOT the same! After booking and paying the non refundable room rate, we got a email, saying not to expect a see view or balcony, as we were booked into the annex (this should have been explained before we booked).They make out it’s an annex at the rear of the hotel, but the reality it’s another hotel behind the Kaype Hotel with no views, a damp / musty smelling lobby, tatty stair carpets, tatty rooms, no one on reception, no on site parking (Reception and parking is at the Kaype Hotel) and for us, even worse, we were up in the loft space with no air conditioning and a low ceiling. Hit my head a number of times. We have been on a two were road trip and this is by far the worst hotel we have stayed at on this trip. I could go on, but the bottom line is scroll past this one and find a better hotel. 8 - 10 is not a fair reflection of this hotel. I would give it 5 - 10 and that’s only because of the location. Also could not get wifi in the attic room, but I guess that to stop anyone getting g on the internet and giving a bad review!"

"The hotel, once found, was well situated on the outskirts of the village of Nueva de Llanes in Asturias, suitable for exploring Asturias. Unfortunately both sat nab and Google maps takes you to an apartment building in the village. The room was small and overlooked the roof of the cafe, by which cats obviously accessed, with the sometimes overpowering smell of cats. The shower head was broken. To be fair, I kept forgetting to report it and only remembered when I was checking out. Hot water almost ran out on a couple of mornings. The room was very clean, as were the communal areas. A fairly basic continental breakfast was available from 09:00 to 11:00. Free parking is available at the hotel. Across the road, a bar/restaurant, also called San Jorge, serves food with a limited menu. Service there was okay but slow at busy times. Some other places to eat in the village. I enjoyed the Siderias bar/restaurant. Very good food and service."

"This is a clean 2 * hotel about five mins away from the main tourist area. As there is no a/c we slept with the windows open and it was pretty noisy. The staff were very friendly and helpful ."
