「Brilliant place to relax and enjoy the last day of sunshine before returning to the winter. Lovely staff, really nice rooms, fantastic pool. Walking distance to the Bird park, short drive downtown. Nice view from the terrace.」

「Love staying here. Beautiful property, wonderful staff, slept like a baby. Breakfast is amazing. Pool is simple but lovely. I even worked out with the owner, Martin. Very family-owned vibe. Get a SPA/massage from Susie. She was amazing. All in all, a wonderful place, run by wonderful people. I will return! Oh yeah, spend a beach day at Llandudno, perhaps the prettiest beach I've ever seen at sunset, frigid waters but just a lovely place to send an afternoon. 」

Car parking was rather tight It is a long way up the hill and too far to walk to the beach or shops, some of the area in between was safe to drive but not so sure about walking Make sure to ask for a room on the upper floor for the view」

「This is a comfortable place to stay close to the heart of Cape Town. It is a pair of Victorian houses bonded together and retains much of the charm of that period. The rooms are large and comfortable. The TV system is poor (effectively only some news stations of use). The breakfast was adequate, but some ingredients were dried out. Parking is tight. Michelle was a gracious and helpful host. The best, however is the central, quiet location with easy access to most of what Cape Town has to offer. 」

「Truly one of the most special places in the world, no place like it. Incredible setting, delicious food and top attention to detail. Patrick and Lamla (spelling?) were terrific and looked after us like family, even driving out to buy me some zamaleks when the hotel didnt stock it. Rooms are spotless and attention to detail terrif. Chef's Warehouse restaurant is a must. This was our second visit in a year and cannot wait to come back again. Very highly recommend it. 」

Atlantic View Hotel delivered hands down the best service we’ve ever experienced at a hotel. I didn’t want to leave. The bed was unbelievably comfy, the view was stunning, and don’t even get me started on the breakfast, just wow. Every single staff member was so friendly and welcoming. We had the best time and will 100% stay here again when we return to SA.」
