We had a great week at this lake house! Very nice house, Loved the dock and the lake. Bob was very helpful with a few issues of concern. We all agreed that a set of wooden steps going down from the bulkhead into the water would have been a really nice improvement. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay , thanks!

Overall, we rate it as okay. Neighborhood is quiet, nice size yard in front of the lake. The yard is more steep than it appears online. The downstairs room is a nice size along with the outdoor patio/porch. The bedrooms were of decent size. Improvements include:There was a used razor and bar of soap downstairs bathroomMosquitos squished on doors and walls Dining room table not whiped downSheets were unclean in upstairs bedroom. There were seeds in the bed Watered down soap in dispensers. Appeared to be dawn mixed with water in all restrooms 2 top burners work on the ovenBottom part of the oven needs a good cleaning Refrigerator quit. Maintenance man came and informed the potential for the Refrigerator to quit was very likely. It quit and we lost in food.The water pump at the dock is busted & could not use the hose. Cabinets are full of previously used condiment items which could be purged.Downstairs left exit door lock needs to be addressed. It doesnt work.Baby snake was downstairs indoors and notification was sent to host.

Perfect Family Getaway

We go to Lake Gaston every year for a relaxing getaway. This house was perfect for our family. Plenty of beds and my daughters never been in a kayak but got to experience it this time as the house came with a couple of them for guests to use. Clean and spacious. Thank you to the host for allowing us to stay at your Beautiful home, definitely recommend it for a big family getaway!

Our spring break trip

This house was the perfect size for our crew. 4 families came with kids ranging from 8-17. All had fun on the dock and deck! We brought a Sea Doo which was nice since the water was still cold. It was nice to have a separate space for kids to hang out and watch movies. Kids also enjoyed the ping pong table.

Amazing House

Spacious house for me and my huge family. Very clean and host responded in a timely manner. Stayed here during the winter time but I bet it’s better when it’s warmer.

Beautiful

Stay was great. Communication good. House had minor but many damages. Tried to send about 10-12 pictures not sure they were all received. Communication with owner was great. Lake fishing was good. Accommodations great.

Wonderful Relaxing Space

The house is modern, clean and has plenty of space for multiple activities at once. The useful outdoor spaces were perfect for dinner, rest, discussion, and fun. It is an excellent place for a time away!

Wonderful lake house and a great location

We really enjoyed this lake house, we had a really good time. Lots of amenities available on the property for entertainment. Some upkeep could be done to the place, new lightbulbs , and just general maintenance but other than that, great time! We do an annual men's trip and this is our first time doing it at Lake Gaston and we want to come back here in the future

Summer vacation

Excellent stay. Some internet problems upon checkin but the owner was great and got it resolved with a new service provider. The dock area is wonderful and we had dinner every night on the back deck.

The property has absolutely beautiful views. My only complaints are the kitchen has absolutely no place to put grocery items. It sleeps about 16 people. So some kind of pantry would be nice. The ants were awlful and we kept the food sealed up. Also could use a good cleaning

Great time on Gaston!

Family group of 14 fit very comfortably. The location of home and water access is terrific. Would rent again. Excellent communication with owner.

family gathering for son who lives in CO

We had a great time and loved the house, especially the 6 bedrooms! It was perfect for a family with 6 kids. We loved the use of the SUP and the kayaks, and the Lily Pad! Most of all our kiddos loved jumping off the roof of the boathouse...even the 5 yr. old did it! My only suggestion would be to fix the sliding door to the shower in the master bath. It would not stay closed.

Beautiful Lake Home

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful lake house. The house and dock are amazing. The house needed a good deep cleaning and there needs to be enough towels and washcloths for each guest. Those were minor issues. The property manager did respond quickly to my request for for towels. There was a slight miscommunication because bed linens were delivered and only one towel. Instead of the 4 towels and washcloths that were needed. Once again a small thing. We were able to buy some more towels and washcloths at a nearby store and enjoyed the rest of our stay.
