"Location Amazing view"

"Calichi Point has been on my places to stay for many years and we finally decided to book our trip to St. John and our stay. 10/10 HIGHLY recommend staying here! The drive up (and down) is on some very windy roads but the view is breathtaking and the privacy can't be beat! With 75% of the island being a National Park, we took advantage of some hiking that led us to some pretty amazing beaches!! Dining is quite limited so plan to stock up on groceries and enjoy eating on your patio each day! We packed lunches on the days we hiked. We also enjoyed a couple massage on our balcony one afternoon which I highly recommend...the breeze and nature can't be beat! Our trip to St. John and especially our stay at Calichi Point met and exceeded all of our expectations! We will be back!! Our host was great with communicating with us prior to our arrival and were available for any questions we may have had. "

"Loved the House, Loved the View, Loved the Vibe!! House provided all our needs… despite a few critiques, it was a fabulous stay and experience on the island! 2 misleading items were a kayak listed onsite and snorkeling from the house. Maybe at one time there was a kayak? But i asked our greeter and she confirmed we could rent one- definitely not a deal breaker just disappointed. Secondly, i personally entered the ocean from onsite and tho its definitely approachable its full of tall grass in this particular cove which is misleading from the pics; its possible someone started picking out the grass in front of the property which was kind but the bottom is so marshy it definitely wasn’t desirable to our families. But definitely enjoyed the great view and we had nice breezy weather which helped keep mosquitoes at bay. The deck is amazing, the outdoor bed so dreamy, and pool was used daily for dips and it surprisingly stayed soo cool which was refreshing! The volleyball net needs to be replaced so we didn’t want to be responsible for breaking it. Though there was a fancy coffee maker onsite, we followed instructions and couldn’t make it work, just blinked. But we were happy just to have the drip maker. Our King size sheets didn’t fit either of the King beds… constantly had to remake the beds daily. But beds were very comfortable and A\C was amazing and sufficient storage for our clothes. We couldn’t close the gate; so 3 donkeys entered 2 our surprise! so cute! "

"Outstanding experience staying at Horizon's Edge. It's obvious from the beginning that the owners and property manager take pride in ensuring their guests have the best experience. The communications were among the best we've experienced in our long history of renting vacation properties. The responsiveness whether it be for packing tips, travel recommendations, questions during the stay, or checking out was consistently fast and excellent. The property itself is outstanding and the pictures provided in the description do not do it justice. It had everything we needed and more. We had been to St. John before and were concerned the property might be a little too remote. In actuality, we had a far better experience on the island from this location than we did closer to Cruz Bay. You get a wonderfully maintained property that has spectacular views, quiet privacy to enjoy your surroundings while having better access to beaches including those on the East End. We will definitely be looking for the availability of this property for our next visit to the island."

"What an amazing vacation! Typically at the end of a week away I’m ready to go home, but not this time. A week was far too short. Harbor Master was everything we hoped it would be and more. We felt at home the moment we walked in. Our week was spent drinking coffee/tea on the deck while watching the sunrise, then getting ready for the day and hitting the beach by 8. We then snorkeled/explored the beach until mid day then went out to lunch, finally ending back at the house to swim in the pool/play games/read/relax. We made dinner at the house in the very well equipped kitchen every night. There wasn’t a single thing we needed that wasn’t there. The roads are not for the faint of heart. They are twisty with lots of steep sections but totally manageable with a Jeep.The winds off the ocean are perfection and we never felt hot in the house even though the only AC units are in the bedrooms. All the beaches we went to (Maho, Hawkenest, Salt Pond Bay, Cinnamon, Waterlemon) were within 20 min drive from the house. There are also delicious restaurants near the house like Johnny Lime, Skinny Legs, Surf Club Cantina, and our favorite….Columbos for smoothies and Açaí bowls. Jane helped us navigate to the house on the first day and showed us around. She was available by text for all our questions during the week and always responded promptly. We were so happy with the whole vacation and can’t wait to go back. 10/10 would recommend."

Home was very comfortable and check in with staff was great. Owners were very kind and the treats were much appreciated. Fell in love with the island. "
