The Jackson House is a spacious 2-bedroom home located in a safe, quiet neighborhood. PETS ARE WELCOME. It has 2 bedrooms with king-size memory foam beds in each room. There is a washer/dryer on the main level. This home has various musical instruments available for the music fan. There's an organ, a flute, an electric guitar, a karaoke machine, a snare drum, and more instruments for you to play with. NO cable TV. 600 meg wireless internet. Find all of our Litchfield houses on FB: @softstays. There is a ring camera on the porch.

Comfy and clean

We were in Litchfield to visit family. While we were not in the house much - we enjoyed how clean the house was and the comfy bed!! We hope to stay again in the spring for our next visit.

Fantastic value

We rent homes in one of two categories: Indulgence or Value. Indulgence we expect to pay north of $300 a night with the expectation of added amenities such as a pool, game room, luxury rooms, gorgeous view or exceptional location. The Jackson House is a value rental where our goal is to keep costs under $150 a night and the focus is on clean beds, bathrooms and decent kitchen. This house is all the above, plus it is in a quiet neighborhood, excellent TV amenities, well stocked kitchen and bathroom. It is an older house, but well kept and very clean. We were extremely comfortable, relaxed, and slept well. The AC worked great and I was able to do a couple loads of laundry in the Hotpoint W/D. If we are looking for a value stay next time we are in the area, I will definitely see if this home is available.

House was very nice and clean. Very spacious and the rooms were nice. Only flaw I would say was the sign on the basement door caused some anxiety because of what was put in at the end.

Out of town funeral for a extended family member

Usually there’s room at my “brother’s inn/house” but he was over run with grieving family members so I had to find a place to stay for my family. Found Mike’s wonderful listing and had two wonderful nights of sleep in a king size bed and room to chill between days of wakes, funerals and family reunions. Tried playing many of the instruments that Mike has, my husband loved the guitar and I attempted the Wurlitzer organ. Great location and accommodations. Mike was wonderful on response time and would book with him again!
