This historic building in a prime location is impeccably maintained with all necessary updates (plumbing and air conditioning, for example) for comfort. The best part of our experience was the staff. They were uniformly gracious, friendly, professional, and eager to please.

The staff was outstanding! The most accommodating staff I've ever experienced. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The restroom, while private, was across the hall so unusual but easy enough. The staff was outstanding. Unfortunately, we could not share in the breakfast that was made as we had to get up and get out early. However, they provided us with a tremendous breakfast to go. Diogo and Cristina are outstanding hosts. The vibe is at once warm and familial while being polished and professional. The neighborhood is lively and hip but the noise is not an issue. Comfortable bed, super breakfast with ample options, and an unexpected courtesy terrace with beverage choices that are complementary with a simple gratuity of your choosing. I could not recommend this guest house higher - it’s an 11 on a 10 point scale! We will return and tell all of our friends. Muito obrigado!!

We had a lovely visit at this guesthouse! The host was so friendly and the breakfast was amazing. The neighborhood is full of bars and restaurants which means that there’ll be some noice during evenings, so bring earplugs (the hotel also provided us with this). We’re super happy our our stay here and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Lisbon.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at LR Guesthouse. The staff were so kind, friendly and could not have been more helpful. Wonderful place in Barrio Alto

It’s quiet and clean. Staff are wonderful and caring. We loved Milena’s cooked breakfasts. Despite being in a noisy neighbourhood, it’s very quiet. The location is excellent as Tram 28 is just down the road.

Thank you for the charming friendly staff, I could spend unforgettable days in Lisbon. Especially, breakfast was really tasty and enjoyable over chat with guests and staff. The fully equipped, beautiful clean room made me relax a lot. There were many restaurants near there, and close to every spot even walking. I would get back there again.
