Very enjoyable stay

My daughter and I stayed here for a few days while visiting my son who is studying in JKU. We found this hotel to be enjoyable to stay in. It is in a very convenient location in the city centre within a 10 walking distance to the train station and right beside the main tram line. Our room was very clean and the reception staff were friendly. We did not have any food in the hotel. The only negative I could point out is that the rooms did not have any charging points which are essential nowadays. Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel :)

Dirty carpets!

The hotel was a typical large hotel, with nice large rooms. Sadly all the carpets including hallways, are old and stained and our bedroom carpet was really dirty. Good central location. Easy walk to Train Station.

The hotel is located conveniently near to a tram stop of all the 4 tram routes. It is also next to a casino, though I did not experience any noise or safety issue. However, all the shops and restaurants in the area around, including the one inside the hotel, close quite early. The hotel looks modernly furnished, and the room is spacious and comfortable. It is a satisfying stay.

A nice stay

This hotel was impossible to find using the hotels.com map link. The link took us out to the middle of nowhere (literally). We are thankful for the locals who got us back on track. The other confusion is that there is another similarly named hotel…. The hotel itself was comfortable, the staff are lovely and the traditional dinner was delicious. Would recommend.

Staff were extremely courteous and helpful. The room's location meant it was completely quiet, which I value. Disappointed that there was no evening bar and restaurant. I used a local Italian restaurant in the evening once during my stay but the service and food were poor.

Suitable for a couple nights

My room was very large, and the beds very comfy. Big windows too, so lots of light comes in. Service at the front desk leaves to be desired, just the minimum service. I was also disappointed that the bar was closed, reception said it had been closed for a long time. That photo shouldnt feature so prominently in their hotels.com description.

Convenient but beige

The hotel is in a good position, about 10 minutes walk from the railway station and at one end of the main route through Linz. Staff were polite and professional and check in was easy. For us the decor was a bit dated, very beige, very corporate. Disappointed that the breakfast price increased if waited until morning to make your decision, 18 euros compared to 24 euros in the morning. Too much of a hard sell. We did get complimentary drinks at the hotel cafe on arrival, which was nice.
