Comfort and Charm

This is a beautiful place to stay. A lovely mix of old and new in the decorations. Extremely well resourced for cooking and comfort. The reclining leather lounges were such a bonus. The outlook into the gardens is very pretty and such a quiet environment in which to relax for a few days. We would highly recommend this property.

Great stay

We enjoyed our stay in the ground floor apartment. Situated in beautiful grounds, the apartment is spacious and we liked our private garden. It was very well appointed and had everything we needed. The host was friendly and was kind to leave us a welcome pack of goodies which was much appreciated and enjoyed. The apartment is in a quiet location and is only about 20-30 mins walk into Lincoln

Apartment was amazing! Really spacious and very grand! Why sray in a small hotel room when you can stay somewhere like this. Owner really nice and very helpful too. City centre c30 minute walk, which is where the main restaurants are too, although we really enjoyed spending an evening in tge apartment and having a take away delivered via Deliveroo!

Beautiful, character apartment. Luxurious, cosy and festive decoration. Generous additions, croissants, mince pies, tea, coffee, milk, filtered water etc. Very comfortable, warm and very peaceful. Easy to reach Lincoln. Friendly owner welcome. I think this is one of the best places we have stayed, would return again if possible.

Absolutely perfect short stay

I had read a few reviews of The Dower House Apartments so I was expecting a lovely stay but none of those comments did the apartments justice. In short, the Dower House Apartments are perfect. Large rooms, tastefully decorated, luxurious furnishings, a modern, well-equipped kitchen 'to die for', and a host who cares about his clients. 10/10 really doesn't do the apartments justice.

Little slice of luxury in Lincoln

This property is beautiful. A true gem. The GF apartment was spotlessly clean, fabulously equipped and so quiet and comfortable. A beautiful garden with outdoor seating came with this apartment. Neal was very easy to communicate with and so friendly when we met him (and his lovely family). Some great treats including croissants, jams, cake, crisps, milk and butter were provided. There was even citrus fruit for G&T. Very much appreciated. It is a 20min walk out of Lincoln. Easy walk in, c.£6 taxi back. We felt so relaxed and refreshed. We will definitely return.

The Apartment was large beautifully decorated and in superb condition. It really was a home from home. The gardens were exceptionally well maintained and designed. I could quite easily live there.

Fab stay in luxury spacious apartment

Amazing luxurious self catering apartment lots of space and wonderful artwork to enjoy. Uber into Lincoln around £6 very easy. The owner Neil left us some lovely goodies and was nice to chat to him about the history of the place. Will return sometime in the future.

You can literally eat off the floor; it is spotlessly clean. I had apartment 3, which was large and very comfortable. The house is 5 minutes from Lincoln but is in a lovely quiet and peaceful neighborhood. There is ample parking and a pretty garden. The host, Neil, is a very nice guy. You will not find a better place in the Lincoln area to stay. I can think of nothing that would make it a better accommodation. It gets 10 out of 10!

A wonderful surprise

The apartment was absolutely excellent, so was the patio and garden. We rarely review our stays at properties unless they are out of the norm. The only query I have is why it is only rated 9 and not ten!

Gracious Victorian house, beautifully restored, period furniture, very fully equipped. Would have appreciated more cutlery, more tumblers (to match the capacity of the dishwasher, and also unsure whether the white crockery with a gold rim is dishwasher-safe).
