Perfect for our Stay

Our family booked this property to spend Thanksgiving as a family with our daughter that attends the local college. Giving a 5 star rating would be the minimum, as the host has thought of everything to make you feel comfortable and a stock kitchen to provide a holiday meal. We also enjoyed the ping pong table and family entertainment in the garage. We look forward to returning next year for Thanksgiving or next time we’re in Lincoln. Thank you Brandon for making us feel at home!

The location and details in the house are well thought out. From the moment you step in it feels like home. There are supplies, extra towels, kitchen staples to cook. We were so pleased with the location, ability to get to Haymarket and how spacious the house was. Highly recommend!

This place was all new stuff. Very nice. Had extra blankets, pillows, shampoo, conditioner. They had snacks and water bottles for us. We didn’t need to use the kitchen so I can’t speak to the supply of it. But would definitely stay here again.

Easter

Easter in Lincoln was very fun! Spent time with our college student and attended Monster Trucks, Top Golf, church and a lot of good restaurants!! This property was very well kept and extremely clean! Would definitely stay here again and would recommend others give it a try! Great location for any activities in Lincoln!

Graduation and Christmas Get Together

This place was amazing. My family really appreciated and loved the decorations that had been put out. It made it feel homey. Although we did not use it we liked the game area in the garage, thought it was a great idea. Our next trip to Lincoln we would definitely try and stay here.

Family Christmas home away from home

This was a perfect place for us to celebrate Christmas home away from home. Truly more than my expectations. There was plenty of fun things to do! We even had a family challenge of ping pong. Thank you for letting us making awesome family memories!!

The property was lovely. It was perfect for our trip to Lincoln. It was well stocked with linens, soaps, and toiletries. The property was just like the listing stated. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your property. The only things we could not find were the iron and a pitcher to make iced tea in.

The Place To Stay In Lincoln, Nebraska!

This place is amazing! Just like the listing advertised. No surprises or disappointments. It was one of the cleanest places we’ve ever stayed in and so very well thought out and tastefully decorated. All the added thoughtful touches were so welcoming and we really felt at home. The only thing we would change is the mattress in the downstairs bedroom but I’m sure it would be fine for one person. Overall, it was perfect and we will definitely stay again if we’re back in town!

They Thought of Everything!

We came from MN for our daughter’s graduation from UNL. This is the second VRBO we have rented in Lincoln. We would definitely return to Husker Getaway. It is a beautiful VRBO. It’s not far from the Hay Market, very clean, decorated very tastefully and has comfortable beds. Everything was like brand new. The owners have was anticipated every need to make your stay comfortable (which is great…especially if you forget something like a hairdryer or toothbrush!). To top it off, we loved the welcome basket with all Nebraska made goodies.

Beautiful Capital Beach Home

We loved our stay at Husker Getaway. Brandon our host was very accommodating and communicated with us from beginning to end. A welcome basket was left on the counter which had some great snacks that we nibbled on upon arrival. The home was spotless and decorated beautifully. It had everything that we could possibly need. We were able to cook a few meals; the kitchen had everything we needed and the dining room table was amazing, looked like someone was a woodworker or an incredible contractor. The showers had shampoo, conditioner and body soap which was helpful for us who flew in for the visit. The back porch area was lovely, very calming for a cup of coffee in the morning. We were able to wash a few load of clothes just before we headed back home. I would rate this host and home a 10 out of 10 and would highly recommend it as a must stay!

Best vacation rental we have ever rented. We've rented in a couple of other cities including Seattle and Yosemite. Loved the "Welcome" notecard, snack basket and notebook with rental instructions and local information. Really appreciated the abundance of paper towels, TP, laundry soap and toiletries. Highly recommend this house.

Wonderful stay

We loved everything about the rental! The kitchen is well stocked with anything you may need! The quality of everything was impressive and greatly appreciated. We will definitely stay here again in the future.
