When we arrived in our room, it looked like it hadn't been cleaned at all. Our bed was stained with pee on the bed skirt and other stains on the bed cover. There was dirt and hair all over the floors. The coffee pot hadn't been cleaned from the previous tennant. The bathroom reeked of pee. Our cable was not hooked up, my husband had to hook it up himself. The TV remote was coated in what looked like snot. The walls were filthy. When we contacted Vacasa about these issues, they of course transferred our call to the property manager who was rude to us about these issues. He then said, "Well I'm going to come down there and look at this. I was in that room." When he got there, he questioned us when we showed him there were pee stains on the bed and about the smell in the bathroom. His response to the bathroom smell was, "well its not pee, it's mold. And Lynn cleaned it so I know it's clean." And his response to the stains on the bed was, "And you think that's pee?" Honestly, it doesn't matter if it was pee or not, why is my bed stained?! I had to ask him for new sheets, he didn't offer. Then he brought me the wrong size sheets for the bed. We had a king size bed and we got queen size sheets. I expressed to him that I was not expecting a five star hotel. We just wanted the basics. We paid a good deal of money and traveled far to stay there for a week, and we had a small child with us. His response to this was, "I'm going to be frank, we sell THAT." (He was pointing at the ocean) in a nutshell, he basically told us he didn't care what our stay was like because they sell the view that comes with the rooms. I asked for our money back and for someone to come in and clean the room again and all he did was refund me a small amount of the cleaning fee. When we saw him throughout the week, he didn't check in on us or ask us how our stay was, he just avoided us. If I could upload pictures of this place, I would. Take your money elsewhere.
