This A-frame has the bare minimum. Thin doormats, no extra toilet paper, and just 3 hand towels in the kitchen. Lots of outlets that don’t work and no lights in the garage which made it dangerous. The kitchen was poorly stocked, some stove burners didn’t work, and there were no blinds—just empty brackets. The futons were broken and uncomfortable. The heat was minimal, and combined with no window coverings, it felt like camping. It wasn’t clean: I had to scrub crusted food off dishes, the fridge smelled, and the toilet reeked of urine. The white towels were stained (hopefully clean?), and there was a small blood stain on the upstairs sheets. The stairs are dangerously steep. Photos appear outdated—exterior looks different, and blinds shown are gone. NO smoke detectors—just empty wall brackets. They supplied dishwasher soap (no dishwasher) but no laundry soap. The kitchen sink leaked, the deck door jammed, and the shower was too small for my 5’7” height. This place was described as charming and elegant, but the “plush couches” were broken futons and there’s no sign of care or “loving skill”—just neglect. Even “mountain views” was checked, which felt misleading. We had high hopes for a cozy beach cottage, but sadly, we won’t be back. I’ve never left a review like this but this cabin was so terrible, others should know.
