「We had a wonderful stay at Le Clos Sainte-Marie and couldn’t recommend it more highly. It offers a truly authentic Loire Valley experience — peaceful, welcoming, and full of local charm.
The hosts were incredibly hospitable and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The property was spotlessly clean, the rooms were spacious and very private, and the location is ideal — close to most of the major Loire Valley castles.

I wish check in hours weren’t so limited - we arrived earlier than expected and wanted to drop off our bags, but had to wait around in the car a long time (since we didn’t want to leave our luggage unattended) until the check in hour that begins at 5p, since the doors are locked and no one answered the door until then. Also wish that they had AC- it was pretty hot during our stay.」

「This is the loveliest small beautiful hotel run by a delightful hotelier. The place is quiet, clean and comfortable. The pool is a good size and open at sensible times. The village itself is sweet with a lovely little beautiful shop, small market, boulangwris and other shops. There is one very nice restaurant for dinner but for other options you need to go further afield. I would definitely recommend this as a place to stay for any visit to the Loire.」
