In the Luberon Regional Natural Park, 10 minutes from the beautiful village of Forcalquier, a charming, air-conditioned house with three lovely bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, warmly furnished. This is not a professional rental, but a family home that we rent out occasionally during the summer. On the property, you'll find a pétanque court and a children's play area with a wooden playhouse, swing, and slide. There's also a 5.10m above-ground swimming pool. And all around you, nature, nothing but nature. If you love concrete, don't come here... We are located in the commune of Limans. The region is heavily wooded and you'll find yourself among nature lovers, goat farmers, medicinal plant distillers, horse breeders, and organic farmers, surrounded by fields of sage and lavender. You are immersed in nature, on a 17-hectare property, all to yourself. There is another house on the property, but it will not be inhabited, except perhaps by us for the first night after we've welcomed you. From the house, numerous paths are available to you; nature is omnipresent and protected since we are in the Luberon Regional Natural Park. A 10-minute walk away is the charming hamlet of Ybourgues, which you pass through on your way to the house. It's beautiful with its few stone houses. No shops, just a few inhabitants (about ten). A 20-minute walk south is a small lake where we go swimming in the summer, except during severe droughts when the water level is too low. To the north is the charming little village of Limans, with stone houses and a very pleasant bistro serving excellent food. No shops. For shops, you have to drive 8 km to Forcalquier. Cinema, swimming pool, all shops, tea room, more than 15 restaurants, a very nice Provençal market on Mondays, etc. If you are passionate about astronomy, a 20-minute drive away, the village of Saint Michel l'Observatoire is home to, as its name suggests, one of the oldest observatories in France. No wonder, we supposedly have the clearest skies in France. In the summer, evenings are organized for stargazing.
