"The view made our stay here so worth it. Quiet, peaceful, and amazing. We only got a peek of the sunrises (the weather was quite foggy) but even then it was magnificent. Keep in mind, I would only recommend this place if you have a car OR if you are quite fit/active. We arrived by ferry and carried our suitcases all the way up, which was quite the workout. "We had a great stay ! I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Everyone is friendly. The breakfast is amazing . Ferry is just few steps from the hotel . The bus stop is just in front of the hotel. Our room is clean and the view of the lake is priceless ."

"I booked a stay at this Filario Hotel, but fell we fell sick before the hotel stay. We reached out 24 hours prior to the hotel stay to see if we can switch to date ore receive a partial refund, but the hotel staff took the entire cost of the booking as they said it was nonrefundable when we booked it through expedia. We even provided a doctor's note, but they were not accommodating. The hotel staff and management were very late to respond despite multiple emails, just giving us the run around. We certainly understand it is not refundable, but they could have allowed us to switch to an alternate date when the hotel had availability. They took our money and relisted the rooms, so they made money on us when we got sick. They are not friendly or accommodating. Ultimately, it was very disappointing as we were looking forward to the visiting lake como. We would not recommend this hotel to anyone!"

"We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Edy in Lake Como. The staff was incredibly helpful and kind throughout our stay. We weren’t able to arrive on time for check-in, but they assisted us right away and provided clear instructions so we could complete the check-in smoothly, which we really appreciated. The property itself is beautiful and very well maintained. Our room was really nice, comfortable, and clean. We also enjoyed the breakfast every morning. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again if we come back to Lake Como. Highly recommended!"

"Conveniently situated on the waterfront opposite the ferry pier and bus stops with great views across the lake to Bellagio. The setting is unfortunately spoilt by the busy coastal road that runs in front of the hotel, the angry buzz of motorbikes etc. Rear-facing rooms with frosted windows and no view best avoided. Clientele dominated by parties of elderly Brits and Germans."

"The pool lounger system is the one major flaw here, and it needs fixing. Guests go out around breakfast, leave belongings on loungers, and effectively reserve them for the entire day - often while the loungers sit empty for hours. At peak times, this creates long queues, and you can expect to wait 1-2+ hours for a lounger (even though many sit empty) simply because others are hoarding spots. Management needs to enforce a clear time limit for unattended loungers and stop guests from “saving” chairs for friends or family who are not actually at the pool. The current setup is frustrating, unfair, and well below the standard of the rest of the hotel. Pool service also needs improvement. Food was delivered to the wrong guests several times, and some of our orders were incorrect. That said, we had an amazing stay overall. The rest of the property is excellent: restaurants and bars are lovely, the food and drinks are great, and the concierge, front desk, restaurant, and wider hotel staff were attentive, professional, and clearly experienced. This is a beautiful hotel with excellent service in most areas, but the pool operation is a serious weak point and should be addressed."

"This hotel was by far the best hotel we’ve stayed through our whole entire Italy trip. The hotel staff is extremely helpful at any given time, the breakfast was incredible and the best we’ve had in our trip and our room the villa overseeing the lake como with private access to the water was incredible. We will definitely be coming back and staying with at this hotel again. Also, if you have a car they have private parking which comes in handy, but also a bus station is nearly 3 minutes walking distance from the hotel."

"Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr gut eingerichtet mit tollem Blick auf den See und die Berge, die Gastgeberin Ambra ist sehr sympathisch, immer ansprechbar und hat uns gute Hinweise für Ausflüge gegeben. Wir empfehlen das Apartement auf jeden Fall weiter. Der Standort ist super gelegen für Ausflüge per Boot, Bus und zu Fuß. Wir kommen gerne wieder! Rita&Jeanette"
