It Suited Our Needs

This hotel was a revamped motel by Redroof Inns. The room wouldn’t seal correctly so it was very humid all of the time. There were clean sheets on the bed, one chair to sit in, a nice dresser, large TV, and the bathroom area was nice. Only one trashcan in the room. We ended up placing it in the bathroom. No fan in the bathroom - made it difficult to get dry after a shower. Staff was friendly.

Avoid if possible

One of the worst experiences ever! I highly recommend avoiding HomeTowne Studios if at all possible. I stayed at the studios section rather than the motel (i.e. Red Roof). Here are the problems I encountered: 1. Once a week room service, although twice was promised 2. Rude lobbyist for check-in! Constantly arguing with customers; then, claiming that he "only works there" 3. Deposit was not mentioned in the reservations; and if credit card was used $5 was not refunded at check-out 4. Location is nowhere near park or walkable to anything but a pizza parlor that is in front of the lobby 5. Coffee is offered in the lobby, but not fresh! 6. My room was not completed! For instance, the microwave was not properly installed; at least a small one was put on the counter. 7. No toilet paper dispenser!!!!! The biggest PLUS for this place was: 1. Rooms were remodeled and clean

Meh.

Friendly front desk they are trying their best, but the property is mid remodel and has construction everywhere and a few guests appear to be living there permanently, there are some old cars in the parking lot that are rusted, And we did hear some shouting from someone next door. Overall it was clean enough and comfortable enough in the right price but not the most relaxing.

Clean but Basic

The room was clean and the staff was friendly but the room was very basic. They only came to clean it once on the day before I was checking out (after a 10 day stay). The toilet ran the whole time I was there even though I mentioned it to the staff a couple of times.

People definitely stay here long-term. This seems to be more like a hotel-apartment strip rather than a hotel. Room smelled like smoke and blinds wouldn't even close on a ground floor room. Went to put towels up in the window to provide privacy since the blinds wouldn't close, and discovered that the towels were definitely not clean. Bed sheets ended up being stained or dirty, so I left and got a room at a different hotel.

We couldn’t stay at this property. Front desk clerk assigned a room that was occupied. Then he blamed others for booking us there. He said he only assigns keys to the rooms, he doesn’t actually book them. Imagine walking into a room where people are already in the bed. It was shocking and frightening. Also there were people fighting in the parking lot.

Was woken up at 9AM,to a phone ringing asking if I was extending my stay or checking out keep in mind this is 9AM!!! The heat was stuck on high so it was super hot or cold. Due to the cold breeze coming from underneath the door to then I had to use my bath mat. My family had already accommodated an moved the first room because of no hot water. Keep your money an book elsewhere terrible stay

The room was rented for $175 per night. Discovered the owner had doubled the rate as there were several events going on in the area. The normal rate was $85. The room was not worth $175. The towels were were limited, no Icemaker available even tho there was an ice bucket in room, microwave did not work. We had requested anon smoking room, but the tried putting us in three different rooms before giving us the non smoking room. I feel like there was price gouging because it was definitely not a $175 room. I will not be using Expedia for any additional bookings

WARNING, WARNING, WARNING!!!! 1st, they double booked my room that I reserved almost a year in advanced, 2nd they tried giving me a room the size of a closet, 3rd they gave me a room on the back side of the property where skeevy people were obviously living full time, 4th I didnt have any towels in the room and only a half a roll of toilet paper and when I did get towels they were dindgy and yellow in color, the phone didnt work, the microwave didnt work and their ice machine didnt work...if they even had one, 5th no one EVER came to clean the room and 6th and this was a very big problem but someone tried breaking into my vehicle and damaged the door frame. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!!
