Levanto boasts a particularly mild climate. The long sandy beach is ideal for all bathing activities. It is an excellent base for surfers, who come from all parts of Europe. The area also boasts an excellent culinary tradition, thanks to the Cinque Terre wines and local fish recipes.
Levanto is an excellent starting point for visiting the villages of the Cinque Terre, either by train, by sea or by excursions.
Genoa, Pisa, Lucca and Florence can easily be visited in one day, by train or car.
