The walk into town was 10-15 minutes, but be ready for the long walk back UP to the house.A few things we felt would have benefited the stay are:-curtains or shades over the front doors and bedroom window. "The hotel is very well located near the main restaurants and in close proximity to the Satazione Centrale, Central train station to ride the train to Monteroso, Vernazza and the other towns in Cinqueterre. The down side was that we had some ants bothering us in the bathroom."

"It was a very basic set up but positive experience still. Room was fairly spacious (3 beds), bathroom and shower were really good, a/c worked well. But the setup was actually in the train station building - at least our room was. But it was a very quiet room - no train noise. The breakfast was a voucher for a cafe nearby that was small and often busy - for a cappuccino and pastry. Since 2 of the 3 of us were gluten-free, that meant no breakfast. But otherwise it worked well for us as we traveled in the trains every day to the cinque terre!"
