Peaceful stay at Ibis Heverlee.

The location of the hotel is serene with basic facilities nearby like a Delhaize Express, gas station, a Starbucks etc. Staff is friendly and the hotel has a 24/7 Reception.

The front desk staff was great! The location of the Ibis is great. However, I needed to stay at the Ibis Centrum for a conference, and they were able to help me with the change. Very thankful to the lady who helped me with that.

Very helpful staff with suggestions, knowledge and directions for all of my questions and concerns! The actual property is showing a little age, but is attended to with very clean care, comfortable bedding, linens and supplies. I was provided a kettle as well for my extended stay..very helpful indeed and kindly appreciated!!

The outside of the property was fine. The employees were friendly. The lobby was nice. The room was not great. There was a large hole in the ceiling and looked like it was a tile that could fall at any moment. The bathroom had paper peeling off the wall and seemed a little run down. The TV is the size of a computer screen. It worked for a one night stay but I would not stay there for longer than that.

Calm, close to town & free parking

The hotel is situated on the M40 motorway Brussels - Liège but only 5-ish km away from downtown leuven. It has a free parking unlike anywhere in Leuven. Although situated on a busy motorway, I did not hear any car at all. The rooms are spatious, the only downside is that the window does not open so no real fresh air is coming in. There is however, air conditioning. The rooms could have a few more sockets and at least one USB socket on either side of the bed. Last time I checked we are living in the 21st century after all. Hot water was available in a matter of seconds. Personnel (admin as well as cleaning) is very friendly and helpful.

I booked this hotel as it was the only one available close to the Leuven area. First, I thought the hotel was much nicer than I was expecting, with the hotel being at a highway rest-stop and a much smaller enclave of Leuven. In fact, if they could just transport this entire hotel to right into Leuven Center, i would give it 5 stars. The hotel is inexpensive, however if you are planning on going into Leuven Center each day, your options are a $50 round-trip Uber ride or a 90 minute walk in each direction, so it may be cheaper in the long run if you're visiting Leuven to stay in a more expensive hotel in the city center. The staff of the hotel was very nice and even let me check in a couple of hours early as my flight arrived early on a Sunday morning, and was helpful arraging taxi service for me during the week I was there. The room was very clean. Since it is a dudget hotel, the bathroom is small as is the TV in the room. Overall, if you're using this hotel as a rest point on your travels through Belgium, it is a great hotel. If you're staying here for a week for work closer to Leuven, then the money you are paying for taxi or Uber each day probably makes this a more expensive option then just staying at a more expensive hotel in the town center. The hotel breakfast is standard for Europe. Duning options in the evening are limited to a Burger King and convienance store ar the rest stop. Anything else you have to spend the $50 to take Uber to Leuven round-trip for dinner

This hotel is a basic business hotel on the outskirts of Leuven, convenient to major highways, and about 30 minutes from Brussels airport. Nothing fancy, by clean, with pleasant staff and a decent breakfast. An hour's walk into the center of Leuven, about half an hour to imec along a nice pedestrian route. Very affordable.
