Reduced Fees.Authentic,Romantic Private Cottage, Fall in Love with this place

  • Cozy Country Retreat, Perfect for everyone, including our Canine Friends!
Unwind in the Jacuzzi bath and while away the hours in a private, warm, authentic country cottage.
Recently refurbished throughout while it's authenticity has been preserved, particularly the original stone and brick fireplaces and original stone walls preserved as much as possible.
2 Double bedrooms, includes 1 with ensuite. Also a quirky mezzanine, with a single sofa bed. Ideal for relaxing in a quiet sunlit room.
A second loft room is an ideal spot for the young ones, with a Harry Potter theme.
Ideal for kids but also an ideal meditation place with comfortable low lighting and tucked away in a private space.
    All new kitchen appliances.
Beautiful views through the valley, no passing traffic, except an occasional ewe and lamb. Or possibly our newly arrived Donkeys..Boy George and Bertie!
Perfect escape to enjoy a night sky, perfect for stargazing.
Check out your birdwatch app and be amazed at the number of birds who happily make the surrounding trees their home. What a privledge to share this space with our native and migratory birds.
Also perfect for our canine friends as the cottage is far from passing traffic.
    15 minutes drive from Letterkenny.

Even nicer than you think

Really wish we could have spent more time there. The location, the views, the sheep in the front yard :-) We would happily take the whole family there next time, plenty of sleeping space and two full baths.

Traditional Irish cottage, beautifully restored, with lots of history in the decor. We were very comfortable here. We appreciated the king bed, 2 full bathrooms and the spa bath. The cottage is very private and quiet, in the midst of farmland with sheep and donkeys for neighbours. The cottage is 20 mins from Letterkenny, the nearest large town and centrally located for the golf courses of Donegal, 30 mins to Rospenna, and Portsalon, and a bit further to Ballyliffen, all recommended. As is the cottage. There is a subtle Harry potter theme and lofts which children would love. Communication with Anne was excellent

The cottage was absolutely beautiful, like something out of a fairy tale. It was in a gorgeous setting with beautiful views of pastures and rolling green hills. In the neighbouring paddock there were 2 donkeys that were very cute and of course sheep. It was perfectly fitted out with a modern kitchen and lovely sitting area with a huge fireplace. Spacious, comfy beds and even a washing machine which we found very helpful. All the unique homey touches were delightful and such a peaceful setting. The owners are amazing, wonderful people easy to communicate with and exceptionally helpful. It is now one of our most favourite places we have ever stayed.

Owl Cottage

This was the most amazing place I've ever stayed. Clean and cozy and full of history. Surrounded by farms with sheep, cows and a stellar view. Nice warm beds and all the amenities you need, even a jacuzzi tub! 10/10 would recommend!

A bit of paradise in Ireland

Loved this cottage with history. We stayed in Rodden (not Owl) cottage, on the same property, and it was delightful. Lots of stone and heavy timbers, beautiful updating recently. A storm had knocked out water to Owl, so our host offered us Rodden, very accommodating. Only complaint was the fuel oil smell in the downstairs bedroom.

A peaceful place
