"Nothing like the pictures when we booked. Very shabby accommodation. One indoor very crowded pool and No facilities on site, you have to go int Saumur which is a lovely city. You have to pay extra for bedding . Beds uncomfortable and furniture all very old. Definitely not worth the money. "

"More than most properties - Gille’s sprawling 16th, 17th and other centuries place will mould to your wishes. No heated pool for us and the games room remained quiet. But a wonderful maze with parking for only the Le Mans champs ( like myself). Everything is close and walkable."

"Well equipped beautiful cottage in the Loire countryside. Very Clean. Owners are very welcoming and friendly and have a vineyard 1/2 an hour away - worth the trip and the tasting. "Hotel was holding a large separate function which initially meant we were denied a table in the restaurant - we were on a cycling tour, staying one night, so this was frustrating after a long day's ride.
