A very nice room although I found the bed a bit soft. The staff are extremely nice and accommodating. The breakfast was excellent. I ate in the restaurant twice but recommend eating at some of the restaurants in town.

Good location. Room was small with old furniture but clean. Dining room/restaurant was dusty: tables and floors were clean but evidence that corners, blinds, and deep cleaning does not happen often. Food options were quite good. Breakfast was good and well-served.

The staff was terrific, I think the location was pretty good, not much to choose from on the island so I would rate it high.

Another positive stay

We have stayed several times, and although the rooms are in need of some modernisation, the staff and the food are exceptional. Breakfast is freshly cooked to order, and the evening meal service is exceptional … there really is no reason to dine anywhere else!

良かった点 : スタッフとサービス
Lovely staff, presentable common areas, breakfast choices limited but a freshly cooked breakfast is offered. Unfortunately the rooms are super dated and old fashioned for a premium price over £150 per night. In the uk they would struggle to get £60 per night.

Place was a bit outdated, in need of an over haul. Looks like the bathrooms have already been done. Staff was wonderful. Restaurant was spectacular, I had 3 dinners there and I am still talking about how good the food was. I would stay here again.

Restaurant und Bar sind neu. Recht gemütlich Was die Zimmer angeht ein Graus. Da hatten wir schon die moderneren Zimmer. Badezimmer wurde schon in letzter Zeit modernisiert. Für einen Preis von über 200 £ nicht gerechtfertigt.

Our room had great view over the bay. 15 minute walk to shops and restaurants. Bathroom disappointing as water not always hot in the evening and the toilet was too close to the wall and heated towel rail.

The hotel was close to a bus stop which for me was great as I don't drive. It was about a 15 minute walk from the centre of Lerwick and it involved walking up a few hills but it was possible to get a bus from the hotel. The hotel its self was clean and comfortable. I ate at the hotel every evening of my stay as there was no nearby restaurants. The food was very nice but very expensive I would recommend getting a bus to and from the airport as its so much cheaper than the taxis, which were expensive and you can catch a bus from down the road I would recommend this hotel to anyone planning a short stay on the island
