"Although the hotel was rather dour from the outside, it was perfectly nice, if a little old-fashioned, inside. Particularly good was the food. The sirloin steak and kippers were the best we have ever eaten in a hotel or restaurant and are locally sourced. Service was very good and the room was very pleasant - the only negative being that the bed wasn't the most comfortable.
