Located in the heritage town of Leixlip—birthplace of Guinness—Alensgrove sits along Arthur’s Way and is moments from scenic trails like Castletown House, Carton House, and the Royal Canal Greenway. Our stone-built cottages offer exclusive access to private walkways, a relaxation room, private sauna, on-site coarse fishing, lifesize chess, outdoor recreation areas, a solid-fuel BBQ, and much more. Alensgrove is just a short drive, train, or bus ride to Dublin City Centre, offering quick and convenient access to the capital’s cultural attractions, restaurants, museums, and nightlife.

Visitors will be met upon arrival for handover of keys and and shown the specifics of the dwelling with regards to access, local transport and other amenities. This will be expanded on more upon arrival.
Once you’re checked in, we like to give you your privacy so you can enjoy Alensgrove at your own pace. That said, we’re always on-site and happy to help if anything comes up during your stay.
Alensgrove can be found within an enclosed courtyard on the outskirts of the lively Leixlip Village. Shops and Transport services can be found within walking distance.
Alensgrove, is currently 20 mins drive (23km) from Dublin airport and the same to Dublin city centre. Only a short distance from major companies such as Intel & HP, the accommodation in Alensgrove is well serviced with top infrastructure and transport options to Dublin and the surrounding areas (Bus, 35-40 min, Train, 40 min). It is well serviced by the main travel routes for any travelling by car, with access to the M4 (Galway, 2 hr) and the M50 motorway roads only a short distance from the premises.
