Relax lakeside on Rough River

Book at our cozy cabin for a relaxing getaway. You can access the lake from the backyard and dock. You are free to use the kayaks or canoe at your convenience. We are located on Rough River in the heart of Kentucky.

If you are looking for peace and quiet with only the sound of the birds chirping, this is probably not the place for you. However, if you don't mind people playing good music, running the jet skis and boats up and down the lake or cruising in side-by-sides up and down the street, or listening to kids running around playing, then this is probably the place for you.

Our neighbors and their guests come to Fernwood to relax, kick back with some drinks and have a good time in the sun. However, they've always turned the music down at night and the boats don't start up until after sunrise and enough time for a cup of coffee.
