「This was a perfect stopover for us on the way from Calais to Pairi Daiza Zoo. Great value, we had a large family studio room with kitchen and two double beds. It was immaculately clean. Piet the host was super accommodating, we enjoyed drinks in the bar playing cards and whilst there is no restaurant as such Piet offered us dinner of shrimp croquette and fresh fish with potatoes and candied fennel followed by delicious strawberries and homemade vanilla ice cream for €25 a head. 「Deze B&B is gelegen in een mooi dorpje op fietsafstand van Kortrijk. De kamers zijn mooi en goed ingericht. Er is een mooie tuin bij. Enige minpuntje: €25 per persoon voor een ontbijt is wel erg prijzig. 」

「Ter Wallen is a beautiful house in peaceful grounds, close to some of Belgium’s prettiest towns. We stayed in the Eperon d'Or suite which has lots of space and is really beautifully designed. Getting up to the loft space with single beds is a bit of a squeeze due to a small spiral staircase. 」

「Had a wonderful stay there. Very friendly and helpful host. Got me a nice hint for diner nearby which was excellent. The room was very cosey and charming. The only thing I missed was a desk for working on the laptop. But the owner provided me a table in the dining room which was okay for me. The location is very quite and no noise from the street or something else. Only birds in the morning. :)」

「A lovely old house with excellent bedrooms and kitchen area. The little private garden at the rear was very pleasant to sit in. Polo is a very helpful host. There are a lot of roadworks going on in the area but further into the old town are all the great sights and restaurants. 」
