"Beautiful resort. Would highly recommend adding the "Palm Beach Club" lounge access. We were asked when checking in and was totally worth it. Property is spacious and relaxed compared to the Hyatt with bigger pools and a pristine beach. Nice stores in the resort with fantastic gelato."

"Breakfast buffet was the best. Other buffets were so so, and we ended up ordering off the menu which had great options. Watch your charges at Five O’clock Somewhere. Our server W******y decided he would add another $10 to his tip on our ticket after we left. The front office was good about taking it off. Ate at Ocean House 19 our last night. Big disappointment for a $74 lobster tail that came smothered with a garlic sauce, when we ordered plain garlic butter and a salad that arrived with no dressing. Our server argued with us on both counts. We really enjoyed the man made beach and pool. If you are looking for a resort that is close to Willemstad for shopping and other restaurants, Renaissance is the place"

"Booked well in advance but gave away our room and expected my 17 yr old daughter to sleep in a couch bed for $800+ per night. Gave us the room the next day. No mention of booking palapas in advance until you get there, and clearly not enough for everyone. Only way to guarantee one was to pay $30 Per day. Overworked wait staff on the beach. Very crowded Beach. Not enough seating in the lounge to enjoy a cocktail at the end of the day. Won’t be returning"
