Hidden gem in beautiful and scenic location. We stayed during an uncommon heavy snow and the staff (Olivia and Cliff) were super helpful and awesome. I’d stay again when in the area.
Everything about our stay from the moment we checked in to the following day when we left was impeccable. Comfortable room. Friendly and extremely accommodating staff. Beautiful home. Amazing breakfast!!
Last minute stay for a near by event proved very successful. Thank you for your great hospitality. Thank you Maikin for the property tour and morning to night service.
Absolutely wonderful from arrival to departure! We were greeted with very pleasant hospitality and the accommodations were spectacular! Everything was clean and tidy and the history alone was very neat. A MUST for couples looking for a quiet retreat. Maikan was a great host!
Manor
Where do I begin? I had such a phenomenal stay at this property, and it completely exceeded my expectations!
I was very hesitant to confirm a reservation here, due to the number of negative reviews that I saw. After doing a bit of investigation, I realized that the reviews were all coming from one group of people. And that the other individual reviews for this place were quite positive.
I decided to step out on faith and book the hotel, and I am so happy that I did. The property is gorgeous, serene and peaceful. I was upgraded up on arrival for a room with incredible views. Breakfast was freshly made to order, I enjoyed it out on the patio with fresh orange juice and coffee. Beds were comfortable, common areas were spotless. Overall a very accommodating stay!
Upon arrival I was greeted by a sweet soul, Maikan, who was truly an angel! Her hospitality, attention to detail, intuition and service were some of the best I’ve encountered , and I am an avid world traveler! The stories she shared and the friendship we forged is one that I hope that many others get to experience!
I now have a dream to come back to this location one day for my wedding - I just have to find husband first :) Maikan even gave me some great advice on this as well..
Thank you to the Manor at Courtland Farm for this wonderful stay. It was the perfect send off to my river cruise vacation in France! Until next time <3
The owners were very accommodating and took a personal interest in each of the guests. It is located in a very peaceful location with plenty of places on the property to savor the serenity. It’s impossible not to relax and enjoy yourself when staying at The Manor at Courtland Farm.
The Manor at Courtland Farm was our home away from home and it all started with Maikan Kone VP of OPS and a world class hostess. Excellence was served up from moment one to our departure. The history, the views the area and the property are an experience in motion to be appreciated. A great place to made memories, so we'll be back for sure. Courtland Farm is everything they said they offered and much more. Thank you for making our stay perfect!
When you are staying here, it’s not just a hotel. It’s a luxury mansion with multiple bedrooms. The bedrooms have fireplaces, very soft and comfortable beds. The entire facility is gorgeous, very classy, elegant and upscale. It’s a great spot to have a wedding, a birthday celebration, a family gathering or a reunion. There is a heated swimming pool. It is very quiet, serene here. There are no neighbors. You can have a music band play music until late without any complaints by the neighbors. You can literally dance all night long here. I would definitely come back to a very welcoming atmosphere, calamity, to recharge and unwind in the nature. The air is very clean.

No Room! Don’t do it!!!!
Horrible experience. Booked a month in advance for anniversary getaway. Confirmed by multiple emails from Hotels.com. Paid in advance. Get there, took 20 min to tell us they don’t have a room. (Then tell us may have room then don’t offer the larger accommodations they may or may not have had). Took 4 emails to property, 4 emails to Hotels, multiple calls to each and over 3 weeks to finally get refunded the room they didn’t have for us. Save yourself the time and money and AVOID AT ALL COSTS
This property is breath taking. It is perched upon a hill overlooking a beautiful horse farm. The rooms are beautiful and staff was exceptionally attentive. We can't wait to return.
Not only were the inn keepers friendly and professional, but the property was stunning. You have a perfect view of the sunset from the gazebo, and it was an excellent place to just get away.
A wonderful getaway just outside the city. Staff and owner could not have been more amazing. Peaceful, beautiful and well maintained. We look forward to returning!

It was closed for renovations and I was contacted via text message the day before our reservation. I had to scramble to find an alternative at the last minute.
The staff is professional polite. I would mark a couple things hirer but the housekeeper did not have our room fully clean from the previous guest. The GM made things right and was so wonderful to righting the situation. That said? It is beautiful and the amenities are nice too.
It was absolutely beautiful. We went through hotels.com because we had points to use but we were not given the discounted rate and our account was charged before we got there and we were not able to cancel. Our mini get away cost us almost $500.00. So if money is no object be our guest.
I never leave reviews, but felt compelled to in this case. What an absolutely outstanding experience! My family came in town for my daughters graduation and I needed somewhere close by for my parents to stay. Someone mentioned that this property had recently opened and so I decided to give it a go. The property is beyond stunning!!! Virginia countryside at its finest! The room was *huge* and beautifully appointed... a true home away from home. They offered every amenity you could imagine billiards room, pool, gym, spa, in-house movie theater, etc. But what really puts this place over the top, makes it a "don't miss this" experience, is the unbelievably awesome staff. I truly can't say enough about the outstanding service that was provided to my family. I travel the world... have stayed in the best of the best hotels, and the warmth and genuine hospitality of this place is unparalleled. One particular standout was Cliff... I just can't say enough about him. He is an absolute Rockstar… he exudes 5 star service and beyond. I can promise a stay at this place will be memorable in the best sense of the word. Thank you to the staff of Courtland Farm for setting the bar for true customer service... it was a true pleasure! And Cliff... you are simply amazing! My parents won't stop talking about you!
We stayed for 2 nights at The Manor at Courtland Farm (which is in Aldie, approx 15 minutes from Leesburg).
The house is beautiful. One half is renovated from the original home, and the other half was added to create this hotel (also calls itself a B&B; more on that later). I believe it's been operating since late 2018.
The place is beautifully furnished and immaculate. The manager met us at the door the night we arrived (more on arriving after dark below) and was friendly and gracious. Comfy beds, bare hardwoods, great water pressure in the room. The grounds are beautiful; we didn't have time to explore. There's also a pool, but we didn't check that out.
I would very much recommend this place.
Two areas for improvement, in my opinion:
1. They do call the place a B&B. To me, the second "B" means a real breakfast is made for the guests, not a Continental breakfast. There was make-your-own toast with jellies and butter, donuts, coffee, juice, etc.
2. If arriving after dark, be aware that GPS will get you to the correct road, but it stops at the first bldg (barn) instead of indicating you need to go up a long road--one lane, twisty at times, and unlit. I hope they add more signs to indicate which way to go, as you go a ways before you even see the lights of the place. (Once you do this one time, or in daylight, you're fine.)
The 2 things above are minor, and should not prevent you from going to this lovely place in the middle of the rolling hills and horse farms.
This property is a gem! So beautiful! We booked it in a hurry when our flight was cancelled unexpectedly. We’d been overseas for vacation and were in need of some peace and quiet! This beautiful property was perfect. It is out of DC quite a bit, so having a car would be helpful. That being said, we were able to Uber without issue and someone from the property even took us to the closest metro station. We will definitely look to stay here again if we are in the area.
